Healthcare Reform & other ugly truths!

Nancy Pelosi – How I spent my summer vacation.

While the rest of Congress goes home to face the wrath of their constituents, Nancy Pelosi, America’s most disliked political leader will be at play in the world of high society and high-level politics. Pelosi will spend next weekend playing hostess to top donors and allies at a series of private events in Northern California.

The weekend begins at Pelosi’s multimillion-dollar home in the fashionable Pacific Heights neighborhood of San Francisco. Pelosi will entertain approximately 170 movers and shakers over the next two days at this exclusive “issues conference”. The second day will be held at a Napa Valley winery. Pelosi and her husband Paul own a nearby vineyard of their own.

This isn’t all fun and games though there will policy discussions on health care, energy reform and the economy. Scheduled to speak are Obama adviser David Axelrod, CNN commentator and former Clinton adviser James Carville and Mark Zandi, a White House economic adviser.

The weekend event is technically not a fundraiser, it’s “donor maintenance,” a “thank you” from Pelosi to those who have given generously to her and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. To be invited, one must have raised money for the DCCC, been a longtime friend of Pelosi’s or contributed $30,4000 to the DCCC this cycle. The maximum an individual may give to a national party committee in any one year. I guess it sucks to be in Congress this summer – if you’re not Nancy!

Let’s look at the landmines embedded in the Health Care Bill

Here are a few of the features of the House Bill that cause chill to run down your spine…….

— A program in the measure that likely would provide education about decisions near the end of life “could essentially encourage the premature death of the elderly”.

— Rationing of health care would result if the bill is enacted in its present form, and, even if the public option does not survive, rationing would be likely because of the requirements imposed on private insurance companies.

— The bill includes language that would prevent insurance providers from rejecting new policy holders with pre existing conditions or charging a higher premium for that condition. Also premiums will be based on a community standard.

 — Government officials, rather than private citizens, would determine the type of health care received by Americans under the public insurance option established by the secretary of Health and Human Services.

— Individuals and employers would be taxed if their private insurance plans are not acceptable to the federal government.

— Hospitals will be penalized if patients have to be re-admitted, possibly prompting health-care institutions to keep people longer than necessary or to refuse to admit them.

— Americans would pay higher taxes to fill a public health fund.

— Private insurers may not be able to write new policies for potential customers.

— The government would be permitted to access citizens’ financial records, as well as their bank accounts for the transfer of electronic funds.

— “Home visitation programs” would be established by which the government could make “voluntary” visits to families with small children or families expecting babies for the purpose of improving the “well-being, health and development of children.”

— An advisory committee led by the U.S. surgeon general will recommend benefits to be received by citizens.

— A Center for Comparative Effectiveness Research will be established, which could result in therapies and drugs being evaluated on a cost basis instead of a clinical basis, critics have said.

Dr. Death – Ezekiel Emanuel weighs in on who gets care…..

Read this paragraph, it is Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel explaining how we should define basic health services in a government run program.

“This civic republican or deliberative democratic conception of the good provides both procedural and substantive insights for developing a just allocation of health care resources. Procedurally, it suggests the need for public forums to deliberate about which health services should be considered basic and should be socially guaranteed. Substantively, it suggests services that promote the continuation of the polity — those that ensure healthy future generations, ensure development of practical reasoning skills, and ensure full and active participation by citizens in public deliberation — are to be socially guaranteed as basic. Conversely, services provided to individuals who are irreversibly prevented from being or becoming participating citizens are not basic and should not be guaranteed. An obvious example is not guaranteeing health services to patients with dementia.”

These are the words of Rahm Emanuel’s brother.   Ezekiel is an MD who helped write the House Healthcare Reform bill.  He is a member of Obama’s inner circle. This guy is evil, he talks like a student of Eugenics.

What is Eugenics?  Eugenics is “the study of, or belief in, the possibility of improving the qualities of the human species or a human population by such means as discouraging reproduction by persons having genetic defects or presumed to have inheritable undesirable traits (negative eugenics) or encouraging reproduction by persons presumed to have inheritable desirable traits (positive eugenics).”

Now I’ll put it to you in layman’s term – if you can’t work and pay taxes, are born handicapped or with a birth defect; or god forbid you get old and need extra care…..you’re not a PARTICIPATING CITIZEN… and we don’t need you! Is that simple enough for you? Reread the quote. It kind of jumps out at you when you read it again doesn’t it? When did this become the way we treat the sick in America?

DO NOT LET UP America! We are in a battle for our country, American values and our way of life! We can not relax because they won’t. We have to fight until we can rebalance Congress. The only way to slow this Socialist effort is to fight it everyday. Hold your elected representatives accountable. Make your voice heard!

The will of the people… is the only legitimate foundation of any government, and to protect its free expression should be our first object.” –Thomas Jefferson
