Copenhagen “Wealth Redistribution Plans” in Chaos!

The UN sponsored climate change talks are being interrupted by “developing nations” who want the west and other developed nations to “do more”.  As you might expect the entire situation is a joke. The third world nations want subsidies from the “rich” nations – can you say “redistribution of wealth”?

Don’t be fooled this is just more grand standing to set the stage for UN intervention and “global governance” through treaties.

Please read the story below reprinted from the AP:

Developing countries boycott UN climate talks

By MICHAEL CASEY, AP

COPENHAGEN — China, India and other developing nations boycotted U.N. climate talks on Monday, bringing negotiations to a halt with their demand that rich countries discuss much deeper cuts in their greenhouse gas emissions.

Representatives from developing countries — a bloc of 135 nations — said they refused to participate in any formal working groups at the 192-nation summit until the issue was resolved.

The African-led move was a setback for the Copenhagen talks, which were already faltering over long-running disputes between rich and poor nations over emissions cuts and financing for developing countries to deal with climate change.

However, the move Monday was largely seen as a ploy to shift the agenda to the responsibilities of the industrial countries and make emissions reductions the first item for discussion when world leaders begin arriving Tuesday.

“I don’t think the talks are falling apart, but we’re losing time,” said Kim Carstensen, of the World Wildlife Fund. The developing countries “are making a point.”

The dispute came as the conference entered its second week, and only days before over 100 world leaders including President Barack Obama were scheduled to arrive in Copenhagen.

“Nothing is happening at this moment,” Zia Hoque Mukta, a delegate from Bangladesh, told The Associated Press. He said developing countries have demanded that conference president Connie Hedegaard of Denmark bring the industrial nations’ emissions targets to the top of the agenda before talks can resume.

Poor countries, supported by China, say Hedegaard had raised suspicion that the conference was likely to kill the 1997 Kyoto Protocol, which limited carbon emissions by wealthy countries and imposed penalties for failing to meet those targets.

Poor countries want to extend that treaty because it commits rich nations to emissions cuts and imposes penalties if they fall short. The United States withdrew from Kyoto over concerns that it would harm the U.S. economy and that China, India and other major greenhouse gas emitters were not required to take action.

“We are seeing the death of the Kyoto Protocol,” said Djemouai Kamel of Algeria, the head of the 50-nation Africa group.

It was the second time the Africans have disrupted the climate talks. At the last round of negotiations in November, the African bloc forced a one-day suspension until wealthy countries agreed to spell out what steps they will take to reduce emissions.

An African delegate said developing countries decided to block the negotiations at a meeting hours before the conference was to resume. He was speaking on condition of anonymity because the meeting was held behind closed doors. He said applause broke out every time China, India or another country supported the proposal to stall the talks.

U.N. climate chief Yvo De Boer said Hedegaard was holding informal consultations with delegates “to get things going.”

In Washington, The White House on Monday announced a new program drawing funds from international partners to spend $350 million over five years to give developing nations clean energy technology to curb greenhouse gas emissions and reduce global warming.

The program will distribute solar power alternatives for homes, including sun-powered lanterns, supply cleaner equipment and appliances and work to develop renewable energy systems in the world’s poorer nations.

The funding plan grew out of the Major Economies Forum (MEF) established among the world’s top economies earlier this year.

The U.S. share of the program will amount to $85 million with the remainder coming from Australia, Britain, Netherlands, Norway and Switzerland, the White House said in a statement.

White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said Energy Secretary Steven Chu is to coordinate with partners in the group to insure immediate action on the program.

British Prime Minister Gordon Brown’s office said he would arrive in Copenhagen on Tuesday — two days earlier than previously planned — in an attempt to inject momentum into the climate talks.

“His view is that these negotiations can’t wait until the last-minute. He believes that we have learnt the lessons from the G-20, that it takes leadership to get involved and try to pull together what is required as soon as possible,” Brown’s spokesman Simon Lewis told reporters in London.

Lewis denied that Brown — facing a national election by June — was seeking to personal credit if a deal is struck. “He is not seeking to push himself forward, but he has taken a personal view that it is important that, if world leaders can, they should get there early,” the spokesman said.

Earlier Monday, British Climate Change Secretary Ed Miliband said it’s up to him and his counterparts in Copenhagen to help bridge that gap between rich and poor countries and “not to leave everything” to the world leaders.

“There are still difficult issues of process and substance that we have to overcome in the coming days,” Miliband said. “Can we get the emission cuts we need? We need higher ambition from others and we will be pushing for that.”

Wake up America! This is all bullshit, designed to steal your wealth and your freedom. This will occur through forfeiture of our national sovereignty by way of UN treaties, like Agenda 21 and Copenhagen. Just say no! Tell your Congressional representatives we are not interested in being part of a global government. We are Americans and we demand our sovereignty!

Obama’s approval sinks to record low

Obama’s approval sinks to record low

According to today’s the Rasmussen Report daily Presidential Tracking Poll indicates 42% Strongly Disapprove of the way Barack Obama is performing as President. Only 23% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of his performance resulting in a Presidential Approval Index rating of -19, the lowest of his presidency. This is the second straight day that his approval rating has fallen to a new low.

The report also says, “The 23% who Strongly Approve matches the lowest level of enthusiasm yet recorded. Just 41% of Democrats Strongly Approve while 69% of Republicans Strongly Disapprove. Among voters not affiliated with either major party, 21% Strongly Approve and 49% Strongly Disapprove. ….Among those who consider the economy to be the most important issue, just 26% Strongly Approve of the President’s performance while 39% Strongly Disapprove. Among those who consider fiscal policy issues the most important, just 1% Strongly Approve and 81% Strongly Disapprove”.

Part of the problem clearly stems from what appears to be a total lack of concern for what voters want, in other words an unwillingness listen to the people. Here are some examples:

Healthcare Reform: A recent Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey indicates that 51% of those surveyed oppose the plan. 40% Strongly Oppose the plan, while just 23% Strongly favor it, a negative index of -17. This has resulted in the lowest level of support for the President’s plan to date at just 41%.

“This suggests that public opinion about the health care plan is hardening,” says Scott Rasmussen, president of Rasmussen Reports. “Despite the fact that most American believe our health care system needs major changes, most are opposed to what Congress is currently doing about it.”

Yet, Congress and the President continue to attempt to ram health care legislation through despite clear and consistent public opposition. While 72% of Democrats favor the plan, while 83% of Republicans and 62% of independents oppose it.

Also 66% of Americans believe that an increase free market in competition for healthcare will provide a better outcome than government regulation. Additionally, 57% believe the cost of healthcare will increase under a government plan and 54% believe the quality will go down.

Other Issues: Americans are split 43% to 43% on the issue of global warming. However, only 22% of Americans consider the UN/IPCC to be a reliable source of information on global warming. 49% disagree, saying the UN is unreliable on the topic and even question their motivations. A large number 29%, remain unsure.

In the meantime, at the UN summit in Copenhagen, Denmark next week the administration plans to advance a proposed international treaty on global warming. Obama has publicly committed the United States to a 17 % decrease in emissions by 2020. If Congress approves of this, critics say such a cut would seriously damage the U.S. economy.

While 47% of those surveyed believe that global warming is mostly the result of cyclical weather cycles, not human activity. Meanwhile the administration, Vice President Al Gore and other climate change activists believe humans are responsible.

U.S. voters (44%) see a conflict between fixing the economy and environmental protection initiatives, 31% disagree. Americans strongly believe congress and the administration must focus on the economy and job creation. 71% say the majority of Congress’ time should be spent on stimulating the economy to create jobs. This is being driven by 29% of companies reporting that their employers are continuing to lay people off.

All of this has led to recent surveys indicating that 71% of Americans are angry at the way the federal government is performing as a whole.

Americans are clearly starting to wake up, now the question is what are they going to do about it.

Copenhagen Update: Redistribution of Wealth and the Human Enterprise

Today’s blog is by guest blogger, Q.W. Johannes; a wise American who has witnessed 80 years of American growth, change and evolution from the Great Depression to the election of Obama.

The  AP reports “in just 15 years , the annual conferences reviewing the 1992 U.N. climate treaty have grown into  assemblies that, perhaps more than any other, encompass the human enterprise.”  That  is  probably true but in  a  different context than what the writer intended.

Unfortunately, the “human enterprise” at work in the U.N. has nothing to do with climate change and everything to do with redistribution of wealth  and global governance!  The “human enterprise” is  being directed by  various corrupt government officials in league with unscrupulous global business  leaders , central bankers  and  billionaire manipulators like George Soros.

The Copenhagen conference regales attendees with fear mongering videos showing  child’s nightmare  of climate change disasters or one with  polar bears falling from the sky and smashing to the pavement below.  Is this a serious presentation of scientific fact or just another pack of lies to strike fear in the hearts of the uninformed masses?  Does anyone still believe the factually flawed Al Gore ? As the  AP  and the rest  of the mainstream media studiously ignore the recent revelations concerning falsified data from the  U.N.’s  scientific advisory panel, the charlatans  press on  with their  fraudulent scam.

Meanwhile, here at home,  the EPA conveniently announces that  CO 2 is harmful to the health of human beings, you know, the same CO 2 which is a natural by-product of breathing. The EPA announcement is made coincidently as the Copenhagen conference is about to begin.

The EPA is making these costly regulations without the support of factual scientific data or regard for the economic consequences to America. Instead they are trying to “nudge” as Cass Sunstein likes to say, the legislative process along to force their real agenda.  We need congress to do their job and write appropriate legislation rather than allow the EPA to regulate without oversight. This administration is hijacking the legislative process so they can manipulate the law to drive their agenda.

So, if the public doesn’t want a treaty that will end our sovereignty, and doesn’t want Cap & Trade, it’s time for action. You must start tracking the votes of your elected officials and holding them accountable for their decisions. If we can make it to November 2010 without the current congress and administration destroying the country or the economy we can vote to throw the irresponsible ones (bums) out. Of course, that would leave us with an almost empty House and Senate. However the good news is it will also provide us an opportunity to start over with legislators who want to do the job they were elected to do starting with defending the country and the constitution. It almost sounds revolutionary!

No Balls’ Chris Matthews Calls West Point the enemy camp!

In an unbelievably idiotic statement Chris Matthews show a complete lack of respect for our military personnel and their service. Watch this video from right after the President’s speech:

Chris, you sir are an idiot of epic proportions. You need to apologize to the men and women of West Point, immediately. However, I am sure your idiot friends at MSNBC are proud of you.

Obama by the numbers …Americans are fed up!

New data from Rasmussen Reports indicates the mood among voters is increasingly turning to anger.

According to a new survey by Rasmussen Reports, seventy-one percent (71%) of all voters nationwide say they’re at least “Somewhat Angry” about the current policies of the federal government. This is a 5% increase since September. Forty –six percent (46%) of this total are “Very Angry”, which is a 10% increase in this category since September. Of the remaining twenty-nine percent (29%), twenty-seven (27%) are “Not Angry” and of that group, ten percent (10%) are “Not Angry at All”. Two percent are apparently are asleep or stoned and have “No Opinion” at all. Someone should check them for a pulse.

Additional data shows that men are angrier than women. Also voters over 40 are more upset than voters under 30. Of those over 40, the majority are “Very Angry”. Of those under-30 voters only 25% are “Very Angry”.

On Healthcare:

Another Rasmussen survey finds that 41% of voters support the health care reform plan before Congress while 53% are opposed to it. Those figures include 22% who “Strongly Favor” the plan versus 40% who are “Strongly Opposed” to it.

Presidential Job Performance:

On Obama’s job performance RR found that 47% of voters approve of his performance while 52% disapprove. These figures include 28% which “Strongly Approve” versus 41% which “Strongly Disapprove” resulting in a current performance index of -13.

Is the tide turning? Maybe but the game is still in the first quarter. Keep turning up the heat and demanding the transparency and accountability we were promised.

Robert Gibbs on Climate Change Science

Once again the arrogance of the White House is well represented by Robert Gibbs as he responds to a question on the “science” of global warming from Fox News’ Major Garrett. Despite over 30,000 scientists worldwide going on record as refuting the science that climate change is caused directly by humans, Mr. Gibbs dismisses the comment saying,  “there is no real scientific basis for dispute of this.”

Also pay attention to his comments referring to Obama’s participation and his goal. Gibbs states that Obama is going to Copenhagen to try to “use this visit to get us to the point of a deal”. There is no deal that can come out of Copenhagen that will be good for the U.S. or our sovereignty. Watch the exchange below:

In light of Climategate and all the opposition to the global warming scare, you would think that it might be time to call for an open dialogue with both sides of the scientific community to determine the best course of action. Except of course, Al Gore has weighed in and also claims that the science is settled.

Lies, lies and more lies. This is a power grab that has been underway since the sixties beginning with The Club of Rome. It is the key to setting up the U.N. to provide the backbone of global governance.

Read the quotes of the leaders of this movement. See the quotes here: http://bit.ly/44Up7e

They have a plan and they are executing. The Copenhagen Treaty conference could be the tipping point. The Climategate emails are the break the good guys need to show this scam for what it is. We must let our leaders know that we do not want them to sign us on to a treaty that will destroy our economy and our sovereignty especially when it is based on science that is in serious question. The only eminent threat is global governance and empowering the U.N. with more control of world affairs.

Wake up, America – your future is at stake. Our sovereign nation and your freedom hangs in the balance.
