The Next 5 Things: #5 Indoctrination of the Nation

America is in a period of significant transition. We are at a crossroads in our history. Our choice is between embracing our history & heritage or choosing a path toward socialism & big government.

The Progressives want the latter. Part of their plan to take us there includes the indoctrination of our youth and college age citizens. This indoctrination is a multi-pronged attack that includes advertising, movies, television, recreational pursuits such as scouting, boys and girls clubs as well as an educational curriculum that has revised our national history.

The messaging that exists is clear. It starts with elementary school children being taught songs that idolize the president.

Song 3: Obama is the president, first African-American in history. The 44th president of the United States. The ground has shifted (clap) the world has changed. (cowbell) Oo-oo-oo! I’m a proud American. Oo-oo-oo!  Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes, we can!  I’m gonna study real hard just like Barack!  Learning never, ever stops! Gonna set my goals high and graduate. You might be looking at the president of 2048. 

It moves to anti capitalism propaganda courtesy of the Progressive Left, George Soros and The Tides Foundation. One example is a video called “The Story of Stuff”. This video is being shown in schools and churches around the US. The message is that capitalism is evil. Our government is the servant of industry. We (the U.S.) are raping other countries around the world of their resources and generally destroying the planet. This video is being used around the world and is available in several languages. The video’s goal: to shame American children for “our evil behavior” and to reinforce negative stereotypes of the U.S. in the rest of the world. If you have not seen it you must watch this video. (

After watching “The Story of Stuff” you’ll probably feel really bad if you are only 7 or 8 years old. But maybe you would feel better if you could help fix the broken planet you live on… I know you could join the Earth Scouts!

That’s right – The Earth Scouts. I know, I know – who the hell are the Earth Scouts?

From their website:

“Earth Scouts is an inclusive, co-educational scouting program, in which facilitators provide a cooperative learning environment for future community leaders and change agents seeking sustainability, equity and nonviolence. Earth Scouts are the parents, teachers, mentors and youth who come together to engage in a shared learning experience that teaches and supports understanding and action on community issues in ways that are congruent with the Earth Charter. Earth Scouts is a program of Earth Charter U.S.”

“…Earth Scouts is more than a scouting program. It is a group experience in which each child or youth:

Finds his/her voice for leadership;

Understands the complexity of sustainability—that it involves social and economic equity, environmental soundness, nonviolence and peace;

Takes the responsibility to transform her/his concerns into action either as an individual or as a group.

“… Earth Scouts is a way of life and a way of perceiving the world that is connected to the Earth Charter, a larger shared global vision for a caring, sustainable and peaceful world.”

Pay attention to the words from their website; here are just a handful that are very telling: sustainability, personal efficacy, environmental soundness, social and economic equity all of these sound noble on the surface but when you factor in – “It is based on 50 UN Declarations, 200 agreements of non-governmental organizations, the perspectives of contemporary science and cosmology, the wisdom of world religions and ancient and current sustainable ways of living and working.” it begins to sound more like another scheme to indoctrinate the youth and convert them into “environmental community organizers”. Also it is hard to overlook that a stated objective is “recognition of the importance of participating in the political system.” In any normal youth program an enhanced sense of citizenship and its’ value is a desired outcome. However that is not the same as saying, “increased likelihood of voting in adulthood” is a stated goal. Or that Earth Scouts is a way of life and a way of perceiving the world that is connected to the Earth Charter, a larger shared global vision for a caring, sustainable and peaceful world.

Next we have the high school and college age kids. They are being told by their teachers and professors as well as the president’s web site that their parents just don’t get it. There is a video from that shows the children explaining things to the adults. The kids do not just feel the need to educate their parents and discuss the issues with them. Instead you are left with the feeling that Mom and Dad are stupid. They still believe in that crazy Constitution thing. The president seems to be saying; you must educate your parents because you get it and they don’t.  Here is a sample from the video:

So when my cousins and I have to talk to them about why we as the future generations really need Obama as the president.

We start out easily and just start saying, oh, watch the debate. And then we’ll say, well, we really think that what Obama or Biden said about energy is really important because we need to start fixing that now before it will be too late.

This type of indoctrination should scare parents everywhere. My next comment will draw fire from the Progressives who read my blog so that can fire nasty tweets at me on Twitter but the last time these types of tactics were used was during the rise of the Third Reich, when German children turned on there own parents after being brainwashed by the government.

There is also the use of art as propaganda, another Third Reich favorite. There was the NEA controversy when the White House attempted to use the NEA to create propaganda art to support their agenda message.

Art as Propaganda – A historical perspective: 

“Art was considered to be one of the most important elements to strengthening the Third Reich and purifying the nation. Political aims and artistic expression became one. The task of art in the Third Reich was to shape the population’s attitudes by carrying political messages with stereotyped concepts and art forms”.

Examples of recent “Obama Propaganda Art”

In case you think I am exaggerating or pinning something on the president he is not really involved in, read this:

“The president has a clear arts agenda and has been very supportive of using art and supporting art in creative ways to talk about some of the issues that we face here in this country. Continue to get involved in those things, to support some of the president’s initiatives, but also to do things that we are passionate about and to push the president and to push his administration.” – MICHAEL SKOLNIC, RUSSELL SIMMONS POLITICAL DIRECTOR

Hollywood is also helping the president with his propaganda agenda. Remember, Green Week at GE-owned NBC. This is a special form of broadcast television — especially on NBC, who has their prime time lineup participating in fascinating “green” storylines.

Have you had enough yet? Are you worried about your kids, they are being bombarded with the “settled science” of global warming” and other propaganda straight from Hollywood, MTV and their favorite celebrities.

There also is the corruption of our history. The Constitution and the American Revolution are no longer given the attention they deserve. The accounts of history have been modified to fall in line with the Progressive agenda. (This is an entire blog to itself.) Civics has been replaced with current events. Text books are a joke and in most schools the kids aren’t allowed to take them home. I think they are afraid the parents might see what is in them. We no longer say the Pledge of Allegiance or sing the “The Star Spangled Banner”. God has been banned from schools but we teach evolution and sex education. This started long before the Obama administration. The Progressives have been a cancer on the country for the past 100 years. Here is their view of education:

“Parent choice” proceeds from the belief that the purpose of education is to provide individual students with an education. In fact, educating the individual is but a means to the true end of education, which is to create a viable social order to which individuals contribute and by which they are sustained. “Family choice” is, therefore, basically selfish and anti-social in that it focuses on the “wants” of a single family rather than the “needs” of society”. – The Association of California School Administrators

Where are the teachers, the parent’s partner in education and our last line of defense in the classroom? Unfortunately, most are in the union and now many are on the side of the Progressives. Higher education was taken over long ago by the left – slowly evolving to the most radically “progressive section of the country”. Leaving nothing to chance colleges like the University of Minnesota have added ideological purity as a prerequisite to attaining a teaching degree.

The conclusions of the Race, Culture, Class and Gender Task Group at the U’s College of Education and Human Development says that future teachers must dismiss the idea of “the American Dream” in order to obtain their teaching licensure required by the state.

The task force proposes making race, class and gender politics the “overarching framework” for all teaching courses at the university.

The first step toward “cultural competence,” says the task group, is for future teachers to recognize — and confess — their own bigotry”. This will be achieved through exercises designed to allow prospective teachers to describe their own prejudices, stereotypes and take a “cultural intelligence” assessment. The assessment is designed to help them identify their own racism, classism and other cultural assumptions.

According to the task force the objective is to ensure that “future teachers will be able to discuss their own histories and current thinking drawing on notions of white privilege, hegemonic masculinity, heteronormativity, and internalized oppression.” These teachers will be required to champion social justice, “to explain how institutional racism works in schools” and acknowledge the flaws in the American Dream. They also recommend requiring “our future teachers” to “articulate a sophisticated and nuanced critical analysis” of this view of the American promise.

This is liberal indoctrination and manipulation for adults. It is also further proof that in the ranks of higher education there is a concerted effort to drive a social re-engineering of our country.

The administration continues to treat the American public, who they are supposed to be serving, as if we are deaf, dumb and blind. Worse yet they believe that we are easily manipulated. Their behavior, their totally disdain for our Constitution and their tactics are insult to our intelligence.

I am truly running out of new things to say about what is going on. America – this is wrong! What has happened to our country in less than a year? What is worse; is there is historical precedent for the type of things we are seeing. There is a force at work intent on “transforming” our country. Hope and Change sounds positive but the transformation so far seems much more insidious. There are red flags all over this administration; what is their end game? We need to find out before it is too late. For those who will say I am a conspiracy theorist, I say – Really? If it was one thing, one or two red flags, you would have an argument but every day we hear something new. They are not listening to us.  This my friends is not how it is supposed to be in America.

Bottom line: America is in the biggest fight in our history to protect – Our way of life, our freedom, our liberties, our sovereignty and the American Dream! If you love this country and you are not involved yet – What are you waiting for? Stand up, Fight back and Make your voice heard!

Wake up America! We are surrounded and now they are after our kids!
