Quotes on America by the Founders and other real Americans (Part 2)

Below is part 2 of a compilation of inspiring quotes about our nation, liberty and our national values. They put the challenges and rewards of a free Republic into perspective. It is fascinating how many of these could have been written in the last year…

On the Right to Bear Arms …

On Patriotism …

On Foreign Policy …

Wake up, America! It is time to return to our national values and reclaim our birthright. It is time to take back the unalienable rights granted us in the Declaration of Independence; Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. As we are taught by history through the words of our founders – we are a nation built on the Constitution and the principles of Christianity and we must regain our moral compass to restore our country.  

In the words of Washington, “Government is not reason; it is not eloquence. It is force. And force, like fire, is a dangerous servant and a fearful master.” 

And Jefferson, “Resistance to tyrants is obedience to God.”  

Restore the Republic, Reject the Agenda of the Progressive Left!

    What a great collection of quotes. How far we’ve strayed from many of those ideas. Thomas Paine and Jefferson today would be called terrorists by our president, Congress and the mainstream press. It’s unbelievable, and sad.

  2. Lincoln did NOT say this quote – James Madison did. There are many quotes that the Federalists took from others and gave the credit to Lincoln, in the creating of “their man” for the future ‘posterity’ they had planned. Do notice that out of ALL the presidents and great real heroes we have had, DC Federalists only made this ONE MAN “their hero” and they have made every student in their illegal govt schools practically worship this one man ! Yet nothing you have been taught about him is true !

    “America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves.” – Abraham Lincoln (Lincoln did not say this quote; he did not even give or write the Gettysberg Address that you were also told to believe he did.

  4. In these days of madness wherein Progressives have declared war on those opposing its views, I find the above quotes truly inspiring.

  5. I as A Christian, A Conservative, A Patriotic American, who truely believes Our Nation needs Divine Intervention to Resist, and Founder’s Wisdom to Restore, Our Out of Control Government…. But Lately I’ve incountered Resistance from an unlikely source; those that are trying to lead those efforts to Restore America?
    I’ve used the words of The Constituttion, Famous Quotes from Our Founding Fathers, Dictionary Meanings, Recorded Law, And My Own Personal Thoughts and Why I believe the Things I Do, and It’s All Back-Up with Recorded Documents!
    I’ve been Verbally Attacted By some in the comment area, set aside for personal comments, some are even Tea Party Members.. Also, some Editors of these Tea Party Stories have Deleted All or Most of My Comments?
    Why Will America Continue Into It’s Total Decline and Never Be Restored, Not Because they don’t want to hear and listen to what I have to say, But Because:

    As George Santayana said, “Those who refuse to learn from history are condemned to repeat it.” Why are we repeating it?

  6. This is a great collection of quotes. I will have to make sure that I have included them in my database. I always like it when I see other sharing the words and works of the Founding Fathers.
