2016: Obama’s America – A Review

I decided to watch this movie On Demand this morning because I was in the mood for a little politics and could not bear watching the usual Sunday morning talking heads. I must admit I had low expectations going in and no idea exactly what to expect. I was very surprised for two reasons. First, I was surprised at how balanced the approach was – no hysteria or over the top attacks or accusations. Second, the movie took a methodical approach to laying out the facts around what shaped Obama’s beliefs and how his personal story may have forged his philosophy. In short it does not appear to be a hatchet job.

Creative forces behind the film

Dinesh D’Souza – Author of the New York Times Bestseller The Roots of Obama’s Rage which serves in part as the basis for this film. D’Souza wasborn in Mumbai, India and has truly lived the American Dream. He moved to the United States to attend Dartmouth College. Upon graduation he went to work in the Reagan White House as a policy analyst. He has been a fellow of the Hoover Institute at Stanford University and the American Enterprise Institute. His other book titles include the popular What’s So Great About Christianity, Letters to a Young Conservative, and The End of Racism.

Gerald R. Molen – produced many of the most memorable films in the last three decades including blockbusters like Jurassic Park, Twister, Days of Thunder, Hook and Minority Report. He was a producer for the Academy Award winning film Schindler’s List and co-producer for Rain Man which won the Oscar for Best Picture.

After watching this film, a lot of the things that I instinctively believed seem to have been confirmed. Using Obama’s own words from speeches and his book “Dreams from my Father” it’s hard to deny that there is a well guarded side of the president that if fully revealed would change the opinion of many. The movie lays out a credible case for a personal agenda that does not align with traditional American values. The president has said many times that his election would begin a fundamental change of America. This film definitely creates a glimpse of not only what will shape this change but also who is influencing the direction and what it might ultimately look like.

If you love the America of our grandparents, believe in the American Dream and the Constitution created by our founders – you owe it to yourself and your country to watch this film and decide if this is the Change you want.

Scary Progressives/Socialists: In Their Own Words, Part 2

“Progressivism” is a reform movement that began in the 1890’s and has remained active to this day. At times it has had a lower profile but it has been an active force in American politics for over 100 years.

So what is my beef with “Progressives” ? In part 1, I gave you the history of the movement and the names of some of its’ current members. For the second part of the answer I offer you a compilation of the Progressives in their own words:

There is a consistent set of themes running through their comments:

  • more government
  • individual freedoms are secondary
  • the government knows best
  • use of what ever means necessary
  • the Constitution is outdated
  • capitalism is bad
  • “social justice”
  • redistribution of wealth
  • global government

So this is where it starts – the question is where would it end? These people are radicals who want to reengineer our society and our nation. Open your eyes America, the Constitution and the American way of life are under attack! You must fight back, the threat is real. There are “progressives” in our government who want to “fundamentally transform America”. This transformation is underway. Will you help stop it?

UN maneuvers to create “Global Gun Control”

In October unbeknownst to most of us, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton announced the Obama administration would reverse the Bush administration’s opposition to the UN’s proposed International Small Arms Treaty. This will clear the way for the treaty to reach a vote by the U.N. General Assembly. Seven countries, led by the British, are trying to restart U.N. efforts to restrict imports and exports of small arms. The goal is to “regulate the global arms trade” and “prevent the illegal transfer of guns.”

John Duncan, Britain’s ambassador for multilateral arms control and disarmament, describes the UN’s disarmament committee as launching point for a global treaty. The British believe their very stringent gun laws are the right direction for all countries. Now they intend to use the United Nations to bring their gun control model to the United States.

The irony of this effort is that since virtually banning guns in 1997, the UK has watched violent crime skyrocket by as much as 77% in some studies. The British Mail Online reports, “In the decade following [the election of the Labor Party] in 1997, the number of recorded violent attacks soared by 77 percent to 1.158 million – more than two every minute.” As a result the U.K. now has the highest violent crime rate in the European Union.

So what could this treaty require of its’ signatories, here is a quick overview according to The National Association For Gun Rights:  

If passed by the UN and ratified by the U.S. Senate, the UN “Small Arms Treaty” would almost certainly FORCE national governments to:

  • Enact tougher licensing requirements, making law-abiding citizens cut through even more bureaucratic red tape just to own a firearm legally;
  • CONFISCATE and DESTROY ALL “unauthorized” civilian firearms (all firearms owned by the government are excluded, of course);
  • BAN the trade, sale and private ownership of ALL semi-automatic weapons;
  • Create an INTERNATIONAL gun registry, setting the stage for full-scale gun CONFISCATION.

Disguised as legislation to help in the fight against “terrorism,” “insurgency” and “international crime syndicates,” the UN Small Arms Treaty is nothing more than a massive, GLOBAL gun control scheme. To the petty dictators and one-worlders who control the UN, the U.S. isn’t a “shining city on a hill” — it’s an affront to their grand totalitarian designs for the globe. These anti-gun globalists know that so long as Americans remain free to make our own decisions without being bossed around by big government bureaucrats, they’ll NEVER be able to seize the worldwide oppressive power they crave.  Ultimately, the UN’s Small Arms Treaty is designed to register, ban and CONFISCATE firearms owned by private citizens like YOU.” So Patriots, here is yet another plan designed to usurp your rights which we need to defeat in 2010.

The gun-grabbers in the Obama administration and at the U.N. do not want us to have time to react and mobilize gun owners to defeat this radical treaty which if ratified steps on our 2nd Amendment rights. They (the UN) have been unsuccessfully trying to ram the “Treaty on Small Arms” down our throats since the mid-1990s. But this time they have an administration that appears willing to play along. The risk is high and the stakes are higher!

Wake up, America! Attempts to thwart our freedoms should be no surprise the anti-gun attitude of the current administration. We must turn the heat up on the U.S. Senate now before it’s too late! It takes 67 Senators to vote to ratify a treaty. Every freedom loving citizen needs to contact their Senator and tell them to vote against any attempt to ratify this treaty. This is just another attempt to give the U.N. jurisdiction over U.S. policy. On the heels of Obama’s recent Executive Order to provide Interpol with diplomatic level immunity from U.S. law and Constitutional behavior this is another slap in the face to our sovereignty.

Wake up, America you are being lied to! Our sovereignty and way of life is at stake. There are revolutionaries running our government who want to “fundamentallty transform America”. The Global Warming Lie is just a means to an end for them. Don’t fall for it! Being a good steward of the planet is a responsibility of all earth’s citizens but it is not necessary to destroy our country, our economy or our sovereignty to be a good citizen of the planet.

The Treaty of Copenhagen – a threat to US Sovereignty

What is the Treaty of Copenhagen? According to the website, Web Commentary:

“The Treaty of Copenhagen, in present draft form, would create an unelected world government with direct power over all financial and trading markets, and direct power to intervene over the heads of elected governments in the economic and environmental affairs of all nations signing the Treaty. It would require wealthier nations to redistribute up to 2% of their annual gross domestic product to third-world countries in imagined reparation for imaginary “climate debt” – and all this just as final scientific proof becomes available that CO2 has a tiny and harmless warming effect. Please oppose this treaty by signing a petition agreeing with the Instrument of Repudiation, and urge at least five of your friends to do the same to save America’s freedom, democracy, and prosperity”.

We are at the turning point and we must take action now if we want to save our country. I believe at our core we are still a religious people that values family, faith and country. The Green Movement has become the new religion for some and it is the tool that they will use to “create the crisis” that could trigger the end of our country by using fear, manipulation of the food, energy and the healthcare system to achieve their objectives to push us into a world run government. This will as the President likes to say, “Fundamentally transform America”.

It is time to take back the control of our national destiny. Restore the Republic, Reject Global Governance and Defend U.S. Sovereignty!

Can we destroy the US? UN: We Can Do It!

On Monday,  Ban Ki-moon, secretary general of the United Nations wrote an Op/Ed for the N.Y. Times explaining the importance of the Copenhagen Climate Summit to the future of mankind. If I didn’t know he was a Harvard educated South Korean, based on his name and his comments I’d think he was a dope smoking hippie from a California commune. His Op/Ed follows – read and make note of the bold passages. At the end we will discuss the concerns that every American should have as you digest this Climate Change propaganda piece courtesy of the left wing media.

We Can Do It

Every day, the critical December summit in Copenhagen grows closer. All agree that climate change is an existential threat to humankind. Yet agreement on what to do still eludes us.

How can this be? The issues are complex, affecting everything from national economies to individual lifestyles. They involve political trade-offs and commitments of resources no leader can undertake lightly. We could see all that at recent climate negotiations in Bangkok. Where we needed progress, we saw gridlock.

Yet the elements of a deal are on the table. All we require to put them in place is political will. We need to step back from narrow national interest and engage in frank and constructive discussion in a spirit of global common cause.

In this, we can be optimistic. Meeting in London earlier this week, British Prime Minister Gordon Brown told the leaders of 17 major economies (responsible for some 80 percent of global greenhouse gas emissions) that success in Copenhagen is within reach—if they themselves engage, and especially if they themselves go to Copenhagen to push an agenda for change.

U.S. leadership is crucial. That is why I am encouraged by the spirit of compromise shown in the bipartisan initiative announced last week by John Kerry and Lindsey Graham. Here was a pair of U.S. senators — one Republican, the other Democratic — coming together to bridge their parties’ differences to address climate change in a spirit of genuine give-and-take.

We cannot afford another period where the United States stands on the sidelines. An engaged United States can lead the world to seal a deal to combat climate change in Copenhagen. An indecisive or insufficiently engaged United States will cause unnecessary — and ultimately unaffordable — delay in concrete strategies and policies to beat this looming challenge.

Leaders across the globe are increasingly showing the engagement and leadership we need. Last month, President Barack Obama joined more than 100 others at a climate change summit at U.N. headquarters in New York — sending a clear message of solidarity and commitment. So did the leaders of China, Japan and South Korea, all of whom pledged to promote the development of clean energy technologies and ensure that Copenhagen is a success.

Japan’s prime minister promised a 25 percent cut in greenhouse gas emissions from 1990 levels by 2020, laying down a marker for other industrialized nations. The European Union, too, has pledged to make a 30 percent reduction as part of a global agreement. Norway has announced its readiness for a 40 percent cut in emissions. Brazil has unveiled plans to substantially cut emissions from deforestation. India and China are implanting programs to curb emissions as well.

Looking forward to Copenhagen, I have four benchmarks for success:

Every country must do its utmost to reduce emissions from all major sources, including from deforestation and emissions from shipping and aviation. Developed countries must strengthen their mid-term mitigation targets, which are currently nowhere close to the cuts that the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change says are needed. Developing countries must slow the rise in their emissions and accelerate green growth as part of their strategies to reduce poverty.

A successful deal must strengthen the world’s ability to cope with an already changing climate. In particular, it must provide comprehensive support to those who bear the heaviest climate impacts. Support for adaptation is not only an ethical imperative; it is a smart investment in a more stable, secure world.

A deal needs to be backed by money and the means to deliver it. Developing countries need funding and technology so they can move more quickly toward green growth. The solutions we discuss cannot be realized without substantial additional financing, including through carbon markets and private investment.

A deal must include an equitable global governance structure. All countries must have a voice in how resources are deployed and managed. That is how trust will be built.

Can we seal a comprehensive, equitable and ambitious deal in Copenhagen that will reduce greenhouse gas emissions and limit global temperature rise to a scientifically safe level? Can we catalyze clean energy growth? Can we help to protect the most vulnerable nations from the effects of climate change? Can we expect the United States to play a leading role?

The best answer to all these questions was given last week by Senators Kerry and Graham: “Yes, we can.”

 Now for a little rebuttal/explanation:

  •  All agree that climate change is an existential threat to humankind. No, all do not agree. Internationally, there is a growing number of scientists speaking out, challenging and debunking the “science” of climate change.
  • We need to step back from narrow national interest and engage in frank and constructive discussion in a spirit of global common cause.   •  “…John Kerry and Lindsey Graham. Here was a pair of U.S. senators — one Republican, the other Democratic — coming together to bridge their parties’ differences to address climate change in a spirit of genuine give-and-take”. Two things here; first on the basis of this alone Lindsey Graham should be kicked out of the Republican and second the only giving and taking that will happening in Copenhagen will be American money, competitiveness and sovereignty.
  • Last month, President Barack Obama joined more than 100 others at a climate change summit at U.N. headquarters in New York — sending a clear message of solidarity and commitment. It appears that PBO is poised to go along with this insanity because it furthers his domestic agenda and gives the government excuse for further regulation/control.
  • Developed countries must strengthen their mid-term mitigation targets, which are currently nowhere close to the cuts that the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change says are needed. Translation: We must hurry and pass Cap & Trade so we can do our part in solving this global crisis. After all the science is settled, right? Just ignore the fact that there has been a steady decline in temperatures since 1999. Besides, if we hurry up and get involved in the international plan quickly, Al Gore, GE & Goldman Sachs can all improve their bottom lines at the expense of everyone else. After all, isn’t that what the Audacity of Hope is all about?
  • In particular, it must provide comprehensive support to those who bear the heaviest climate impacts. Support for adaptation is not only an ethical imperative… Developing countries need funding and technology so they can move more quickly toward green growth. The solutions we discuss cannot be realized without substantial additional financing, including through carbon markets and private investment.  Again, with the guilt. This is also another program to create social justice and redistribution of wealth.

Now you may think that I am cynical but this is the most dangerous statement of all. What do the words “equitable global governance structure” mean to you? All countries must have a voice in how resources are deployed and managed? Seriously, regardless of whom they belong to? So to gain the trust of the rest of the world, we need to subsidize them AND share our resources! Remember that Agenda 21 thing I keep brining up? Can you say, “One World Government?” Don’t kid yourself – this can happen in America! Obama and his band of radical Czars, advisers and socialist comrades are on board with the UN and Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.

 It is time to Wake Up, America! We are at a turning point in American history. Every choice in the next twelve months is potentially a monumental one. We must stop the advance of socialism and global governance in our country, right now. With a lot of work and dedication we can make it to the mid term elections so we can throw out the bums in Congress who are enabling this administration’s agenda to “fundamentally transform America”. The danger that Ronald Reagan often spoke of has never been greater than it is right now. 

If you love our country and our way of life, if you believe in the Constitution and the American Dream then you must get engaged now! Speak up, make your voice heard. Hold your elected representatives accountable for every vote they cast. They work for us! 

Time is running out! Our freedom, liberty and sovereignty are at risk of being lost. It can happen in, even in America, when we take too much for granted. It is time for every citizen to defend America by engaging in their civic responsibility to participate in the democratic process and make their voice heard. As they say “Speak now or forever hold your piece.” 

I will close with the wisdom of George Washington who said, “Harmony, liberal intercourse with all nations, are recommended by policy, humanity, and interest. But even our commercial policy should hold an equal and impartial hand; neither seeking nor granting exclusive favors or preferences; consulting the natural course of things; diffusing and diversifying by gentle means the streams of commerce, but forcing nothing; establishing (with powers so disposed, in order to give trade a stable course, to define the rights of our merchants, and to enable the government to support them) conventional rules of intercourse, the best that present circumstances and mutual opinion will permit, but temporary, and liable to be from time to time abandoned or varied, as experience and circumstances shall dictate; constantly keeping in view that it is folly in one nation to look for disinterested favors from another; that it must pay with a portion of its independence for whatever it may accept under that character; that, by such acceptance, it may place itself in the condition of having given equivalents for nominal favors, and yet of being reproached with ingratitude for not giving more. It is a pity that somewhere along the way we lost sight of this advice. However, maybe it is not too late to turn from our current self destructive path. Calling all patriots….

The nominations were due Feb. 1st – only 12 days after he took office. Obama likes to say you are known by the company you keep – so he has joined the club of Al Gore, Jimmy Carter and Yassar Arafat. American Stonehenge, What does it mean?

Here is an interesting side story to my research on UN Agenda 21. I have posted it mostly because it is so interesting and mysterious as for the real relevance – judge for yourself – in the end it might just be a rich guy’s idea of cool grafitti.

In Elbert County, Georgia there is a structure which is often referred to as the “American Stonehenge”. Almost 30 years since its’ construction this mysterious monument is more intriguing than ever. In light of the debates raging over climate change, sustainable development and population control it seems as though it could have been conceived by the authors of UN Agenda 21.

The Georgia Guidestones are a huge granite monument, which contains a message comprised of ten guiding principles inscribed on the structure in eight modern languages, and a shorter message which is inscribed at the top of the structure in four ancient languages’ scripts: Babylonian, Classical Greek, Sanskrit, and Egyptian hieroglyphs. (Note: the contractor for the construction contacted the UN for help with the translation of the inscriptions)

According to the secret group which commissioned its’ construction, its’ purpose as described on its’ explanatory tablet states: “Let these be guidestones to an Age of Reason”

The monument is almost 20 feet (6.1 m) tall, and made from six granite slabs weighing more than 240,000 pounds (110,000 kg) in all.[2] One slab stands in the center, with four arranged around it. A capstone lies on top of the five slabs, which are astronomically aligned. An additional stone tablet, which is set in the ground a short distance to the west of the structure, provides some notes on the history and purpose of the Guidestones.

The Georgia Guidestones are located on a hilltop in Elbert County, Georgia, approximately 90 miles (140 km) east of Atlanta, 45 miles (72 km) from Athens and 9 miles (14 km) north of the center of Elberton. The stones are standing on a rise a short distance to the east of Georgia Highway 77 (Hartwell Highway), and are visible from that road.  The message consists of a set of ten guidelines are engraved on the Guidestones.There is one language used on each face of the four large upright stones. Starting on the north stone and going clockwise around the structure, these languages are: English, Spanish, Swahili, Hindi, Hebrew, Arabic, Chinese, and Russian. So what are the instructions on the Guidestones?

  1. Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature.
  2. Guide reproduction wisely – improving fitness and diversity.
  3. Unite humanity with a living new language.
  4. Rule passion – faith – tradition – and all things with tempered reason.
  5. Protect people and nations with fair laws and just courts.
  6. Let all nations rule internally resolving external disputes in a world court.
  7. Avoid petty laws and useless officials.
  8. Balance personal rights with social duties.
  9. Prize truth – beauty – love – seeking harmony with the infinite.
  10. Be not a cancer on the earth – Leave room for nature – Leave room for nature.

 I don’t know what the real significance of the Guidestones is. They have always been and still remain a strange story shrouded in secrecy. The message on them is omniuous and seems to be as much a warning as a guide. In the context of a New World Order they seem to fit with the continuous messsage of global environmental collapse and over population – the UN Agenda 21. However, just like Agenda 21 I reject their premise. The world and its’ citizens are at greater risk from the global elite than anything else.

UN Agenda 21 & the New World Order Pt 2

Here is a continuation of the trail from across the internet on UN Agenda 21 and the forces that seem to be driving this initiative. The UN Agenda appears to be the evolution of the principles and ideas of the Progressive and eugenics movements of the early 1900’s. The plan or plans which look remarkably similar to Agenda 21 are at the core of the agendas of several secretive elitist groups such as the Bilderbergs, the Council for Foreign Relations, The Council of Rome and The Trilateral Commission. The goal of one world government which offers the elites an unchallenged position of power through control of all resources and services on which everyone else must rely. Yes – this sounds far fetched and crazy but watch the videos, follow the threads. This thread runs through government websites across the planet.  The central themes are around; Sustainable Development, Climate Change, Global Governance, Population Control and Social Justice.  There is something going on and it starts with the weakening of the US economy, the dollar and a crisis, real or contrived that breaks the spirit of our country.

Look at these groups and pay attention to who is pulling the strings, watch the pattern develop before your eyes. Henry Kissinger, David Rockefeller, the rest of the Rockefeller family, the Bush family, the Clintons, Mikhail Gorbachev, John Kerry, Al Gore, the Heinz family, Madeline Albright, Robert Zoellick, Zbigniew Brzezinski, Jimmy Carter, Donald Rumsfeld, Cyrus Vance, Vernon Jordan and other famous US/International leaders from a variety of political backgrounds. The cast is a virtual who’s who across several generations of politicians and business leaders.

If you watch these videos and follow the trail it will not be lost on you that the Rockefellers, particularily David have been the driving force behind three of the most powerful elitist groups (Bilderbergs, CFR and The Club of Rome) and a major benefactor of the UN.

It is clear that the present path of world development is not sustainable in the longer term, even if we recognize the enormous potentials of the market and of technological innovation. New ideas and strategies will be needed to ensure that improved living conditions and opportunities for a growing population across the world can be reconciled with the conservation of a viable climate and of the fragile ecosystems on which all life depends. A new vision and path for world development must be conceived and adopted if humanity is to surmount the challenges ahead.

In response to this intellectual and practical challenge, the Club of Rome will undertake a three year programme on “A New Path for World Development” so as to achieve a better understanding of the complex challenges which confront the modern world and to lay solid foundations for the action which must be taken to improve the prospects for peace and progress.

The Programme will not only engage decision makers and experts and provide them with feasible proposals for action but will also engage with the public through a variety of channels. It will be in part, an “open source” programme. It will undertake only a limited amount of original research, drawing on the wide array of available information and research in progress. It will be implemented in close collaboration with partner organizations, providing a framework through which their ideas and contributions can be integrated. This will increase the credibility and impact of the efforts of the Club itself.

The Programme will focus on five “clusters” of related issues within the overall conceptual framework of A New Path for World Development:

1.Environment and Resources: This cluster relates climate change, peak oil, ecosystems and water. Radical and rapid social and economic transformations will be needed to avert runaway climate change and ecological breakdown;

2. Globalisation: This cluster relates interdependence, distribution of wealth and income, demographic change, employment, trade and finance. Rising inequalities and imbalances associated with the present path of globalisation risk the breakdown of the world economic and financial systems;

3. World Development: This cluster relates sustainable development, demographic growth, poverty, environmental stress, food production, health and employment. The scandal of abiding poverty, deprivation, inequity and exclusion in a wealthy world must be corrected;

4. Social Transformation: This cluster relates social change, gender equity, values and ethics, religion and spirituality, culture, identity and behaviour. The values and behaviour on which the present path of world development is based must change if peace and progress are to be preserved within the tightening human and environmental limits;

5. Peace and Security: This cluster relates justice, democracy, governance, solidarity, security and peace. The present path of world development risks alienation, polarization, violence and conflict; the preservation of peace is vital in itself but is also a precondition for progress and for the resolution of the issues which threaten the future.

Within each of these clusters, the issues are strongly linked: thus each group constitutes a coherent and manageable field for analysis. The links between the clusters will be accounted for as the programme proceeds, within the overall integrating framework of A New Path for World Development.

The Club will convene five small high-level expert meetings successively over the three year period, 2008 – 2010, one on each of the clusters of issues identified above. Each meeting should produce a clear statement on the issues, risks and opportunities ahead with an outline of the principal strategies and measures required in response. As the Programme proceeds, the insights and knowledge gained from each meeting will provide clear perspectives of constraints and opportunities as the context for the next meeting. By recognizing such linkages, the knowledge acquired will be cumulative and will produce innovative insights as the Programme proceeds.

In relation to each cluster of issues, a private, web-based research network will be established through which the participants in the expert meetings, together with additional experts, can carry on a process of dialogue and research to develop a deeper understanding of the issues and to elaborate specific recommendations and proposals.

Each of these five clusters of issues will be the focus of a specific area of information and analysis on the Club of Rome website. As the analysis proceeds and knowledge increases, each area will accumulate research results, a strengthening data base, a deepening understanding of the issues and their complex interconnectedness and a growing number of proposals for integrated strategy and action.

Systems Integration

As work proceeds on the five clusters, a parallel effort will focus on developing a better conceptual and practical understanding of the world systems within which they are linked and embedded. This will help to understand the linkages between trends, issues and actions and to identify the drivers of global change. The Programme will in this way recognize the immense complexity of world affairs.

A dedicated research network will focus on the issue of systems integration, including systems thinking and systems linkages and systems dynamics modelling. These networks will be supported by the Secretariat and accessed through the Club’s website.

In late 2010 it is planned that the concluding “International Forum of the Club of Rome” will be held to integrate the final outputs of the expert meetings, of the research networks and of the related activities by all the elements of the Club and its partner organizations, leading to coherent conclusions and recommendations and to a major Final Report. – Source The Club of Rome website
