03/04/2010 National Day of Action

This post is about a few things; the underlying indoctrination being used to push us towards socialism, the organizations that are behind this hidden agenda and what makes them so dangerous. They have a revolutionary mentality, they subscribe to the idea that you can change fundamentally America.

March 4th was a National Day of Action called for by a coalition of groups working under the banner – Defend Education. So now the real question is – Who are these groups and what do they really stand for?

Thousands of people took to the streets across the country. There were rallies in Wisconsin, Texas, Illinois, at UC Berkeley, which was probably was the biggest and many other locations around the country. Most received only passing coverage by the media, yet these rallies are another example of the socialist forces eating away at the base of our society.

Coalitions such as Defend Education are created to fool people as to the true nature of their agendas. Defend Education sounds noble and meaningful. However, their real messages are; corporations are evil, we want socialism, we want government control and to create social justice.

One significant and noteworthy player in this call to action is Students for a Democratic Society (SDS). SDS is a student organization which promotes the beliefs and agenda of America’s progressive left. The group takes its’ name and inspiration from the original SDS of the 1960s, the largest radical student organization in US history. It was the incubator for the 60’s Weather Underground which spawned Bill Ayers and his bombing attacks on government buildings. The reconstituted version that began its’ comeback around 2006 has gone worldwide. In the past the SDS, was a violent campus organization – will it be again?

Some of the other groups involved in Defend Education are Bail Out the People Movement which is a front for International Answer, a pro communist group and Anakbayan which supports the terrorist groups, Hamas and Hezbollah. Anakbayan is part of the noncommunist core of the “progressive movement”. This group is currently running a campaign against what they call a “U.S. military occupation” of Haiti. The last time I checked the military’s efforts in both Haiti and Chile are humanitarian relief efforts. There are lots of splinter groups participating in the coalition, far too many to mention individually.

There are other groups that most people have never heard of such as “Nation of Aztlan”. This group is made up of activists from numerous organizations including The Mexican-American Legal Defense and Education Fund (MALDEF), the National Council of La Raza (NCLR), Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan (MEChA), and the National Immigration Forum (NIF). This group is the Hispanic answer to Hamas. They believe that most of the southwest should returned to them for establishment of a “Hispanic Homeland”. This would include the states of California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, plus southern Colorado, along with several current Mexican states. They would establish the “Republica del Norte” or the Republic of the North. According to Charles Truxillo, professor, University of New Mexico, this is “an inevitability”. He also says the new “Hispanic Homeland” should be brought into being “by any means necessary.” The logo of this organization sends a clear message – it is an eagle with a stick of dynamite in its claw.

So what were the demands on the National Day of Action, here is a sample from the California website:

Keep in mind this is just from the California website. There are many websites from related groups all over the country.

Of course, SEIU and Andy Stern are also involved, Stern is an original SDS radical. He’s a Leninist which means he subscribes to a theory of dictatorship of the proletariat, led by a revolutionary vanguard party. In his recent book, Stern claims globalization and the economic gap between rich and poor is the primary problem facing the world. The book calls for unions to be the primary leader of social reform, including increased taxation of the wealthy and the need for universal health care.

SEIU and AFSCME, the municipal employees union, are two of the most politically active organizations on the left. There are legitimate reasons for concern about what happens next if the agenda of these groups fail. The extreme left, as Andy Stern points out, “want our money’s worth”. These groups have invested significant time, attention, manpower and money into their agenda – specifically healthcare. They are counting on Barack Obama to make this happen.

Listen to what is being said by those who support these policies about America:

“And this is part of the thing is I don’t think we’re going to be meeting people’s day to day needs and I don’t think we have to help this capitalist system which has met the needs of American working people on the backs of third world plantations for my whole lifetime. We don’t have to help that. We have to help bring this government down. We have to help destroy this system and that requires increasing the alienation that working class and oppressed people feel”. – Jeb Brandt, aka The Bald Communist

So what is the fallout potential if their agenda fails? We always here about the tea parties being the home of right wing extremists – so what of the left? Remember their history – Bill Ayers, the Weather Underground, the SDS? The potential for violence is very real.

Make no mistake, the left will pull out all the stops, claims former SDS member and leftist, David Horowitz. As he explained on a recent appearance on the Glenn Beck Show, “I have experience of this. I mean, I was a very intellectual leftist. I never threw a rock. But as the editor of Ramparts magazine, which is the biggest magazine of the left, I was approached … by a defector from our intelligence services. And we printed national secrets in the magazine and, of course, nothing, nothing happened to us. We were advised by, I was advised actually, by a Harvard law professor, still a professor of constitutional law on exactly how to commit treason”.

Here’s the problem America, many of the radical left from the 1960s are now the ruling class. They are in Congress. They work at the White House and they are in business. They run the New York Times and the Washington Post. Many of these people were part of the left in the Sixties. The only difference is today they have the power to force their agenda which hasn’t changed. Now however, their tactics are different. They are the new puppet masters, they can stir up the hate and bring the student activists into play. They are in a position to apply pressure on both the top and the middle. Make no mistake the progressives want to “fundamentally transform America”. They want a society that is based on socialism and “social justice”. People need to wake up! The progressives are concealing their real agenda. Healthcare reform, global warming, cap & trade, immigration reform, standing with the unions and all these new social programs have but one purpose: destroy the free markets which will increase government control.

If you believe in the Constitution, you must defend the free market system, you must defend private property, you must defend individual rights and you must oppose group collective rights. The progressives are against the First Amendment when you disagree with them. They are for racial references that create designated groups who they call oppressed. This is America, we do not allow oppression of our citizens. Our laws are being twisted and corrupted. The Constitution and most of our laws are designed to protect our individual rights but our laws do not guarantee level playing field. As individuals we are still responsible for ourselves and our own success. Socialism is about making everyone equal, redistributing wealth and punishing individual initiative.

The code language of socialism has permeated all levels of our educational system. It is the code language of the old Soviet Union. The slogan of the Communist Party at its’ height under Stalin was peace, jobs and democracy. The new code words are hope, change, redistribution of wealth and social justice. Students are taught to demand their rights – not their Constitutional rights but their perceived rights to things such as education, healthcare, good jobs and other entitlements. They are also taught that America is a selfish, imperialistic bully of a nation, that we should be embarrassed/ashamed of our riches and exceptionalism.

America has lost its’ way. The American Dream of prior generations has evolved into a culture of entitlement and consumerism. The original American dream was not merely a dream of big houses, fancy cars and high wages, but a dream of a social order in which each man or woman would be able to have the opportunity to attain to the success that they were innately of capable, regardless of the circumstances of birth. It was about a national experience of patriotism and a common success shared by many.

I was taught by my parents that with hard work, perseverance, integrity and dedication that I could create opportunities that would put me in a position to succeed. I taught my children the same and today all are working and supporting their families.

Sadly, today for many Americans it has degenerated into a culture that focuses on bringing prosperity to oneself. Greed, unethical behavior and overriding self interest for many have replaced patriotism, ethical behavior, hard work and a sense of community.

As we have added layer after layer to our social and entitlement programs our national debt and our need for tax revenue have taken on lives of their own. Many now believe that it is the responsibility of the federal government to take care of them.

It is time for a change! We must find a way to return to our core national values. Doing the right thing does not mean establishing an enormous federal government to provide nanny state oversight so that everything is equal among the citizens. Doing the right thing is creating the opportunity for everyone to succeed according to their abilities. There is no free lunch, not in America or anywhere else!

It is time to stop apologizing to the world for our success. As a citizen of the world we have been a good and giving nation. Can we be a better citizen of the world? Of course, so can every other country on the planet. But to save the country we love and to revive America we must return to our Constitutional government and the freedom it nurtures.

It is time for a National Day of Action. A day when Americans stop and remember what made us Americans, a day when we rededicate ourselves to the Constitution and to our original form of government – A Constitutional Republic.

Restore the Republic, Reject Socialism!

I’ll close with some words of wisdom from a few of our founding fathers and great leaders:

“If we can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people, under the pretence of taking care of them, they must become happy”. – Thomas Jefferson

“With respect to the two words ‘general welfare,’ I have always regarded them as qualified by the detail of powers connected with them. To take them in a literal and unlimited sense would be a metamorphosis of the Constitution into a character which there is a host of proofs was not contemplated by its creators.” — James Madison

“To take from one, because it is thought his own industry and that of his fathers has acquired too much, in order to spare to others, who, or whose fathers, have not exercised equal industry and skill, is to violate arbitrarily the first principle of association, the guarantee to everyone the free exercise of his industry and the fruits acquired by it.” — Thomas Jefferson

“If you want total security, go to prison. There you’re fed, clothed, given medical care and so on. The only thing lacking… is freedom”. – Dwight D. Eisenhower

“The Constitution is not an instrument for the government to restrain the people, it is an instrument for the people to restrain the government — lest it come to dominate our lives and interests.” — Patrick Henry

“A government big enough to give you everything you want is a government big enough to take from you everything you have,” – Gerald Ford

The nine most terrifying words in the English language are, ‘I’m from the government and I’m here to help.’ -Ronald Reagan

“But a Constitution of Government once changed from Freedom, can never be restored. Liberty, once lost, is lost forever”. – John Adams

The Next 5 Things: #5 Indoctrination of the Nation

America is in a period of significant transition. We are at a crossroads in our history. Our choice is between embracing our history & heritage or choosing a path toward socialism & big government.

The Progressives want the latter. Part of their plan to take us there includes the indoctrination of our youth and college age citizens. This indoctrination is a multi-pronged attack that includes advertising, movies, television, recreational pursuits such as scouting, boys and girls clubs as well as an educational curriculum that has revised our national history.

The messaging that exists is clear. It starts with elementary school children being taught songs that idolize the president.

Song 1: Mm, mmm, mm!
Barack Hussein Obama

He said that all must lend a hand
To make this country strong again
Mmm, mmm, mm!
Barack Hussein Obama

He said we must be fair today
Equal work means equal pay
Mmm, mmm, mm!
Barack Hussein Obama

He said that we must take a stand
To make sure everyone gets a chance
Mmm, mmm, mm!
Barack Hussein Obama

He said red, yellow, black or white
All are equal in his sight
Mmm, mmm, mm!
Barack Hussein Obama

Yes!
Mmm, mmm, mm
Barack Hussein Obama

Song 2: Hello, Mr. President we honor you today!
For all your great accomplishments, we all doth say “hooray!”

Hooray, Mr. President! You’re number one!
The first black American to lead this great nation!

Hooray, Mr. President we honor your great plans
To make this country’s economy number one again!

Hooray Mr. President, we’re really proud of you!
And we stand for all Americans under the great Red, White, and Blue!

So continue —- Mr. President we know you’ll do the trick
So here’s a hearty hip-hooray —-

Hip, hip hooray!
Hip, hip hooray!
Hip, hip hooray

Song 3: Obama is the president, first African-American in history. The 44th president of the United States. The ground has shifted (clap) the world has changed. (cowbell) Oo-oo-oo! I’m a proud American. Oo-oo-oo!  Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes, we can!  I’m gonna study real hard just like Barack!  Learning never, ever stops! Gonna set my goals high and graduate. You might be looking at the president of 2048.

It moves to anti capitalism propaganda courtesy of the Progressive Left, George Soros and The Tides Foundation. One example is a video called “The Story of Stuff”. This video is being shown in schools and churches around the US. The message is that capitalism is evil. Our government is the servant of industry. We (the U.S.) are raping other countries around the world of their resources and generally destroying the planet. This video is being used around the world and is available in several languages. The video’s goal: to shame American children for “our evil behavior” and to reinforce negative stereotypes of the U.S. in the rest of the world. If you have not seen it you must watch this video. (http://wp.me/pv8jP-9r)

After watching “The Story of Stuff” you’ll probably feel really bad if you are only 7 or 8 years old. But maybe you would feel better if you could help fix the broken planet you live on… I know you could join the Earth Scouts!

That’s right – The Earth Scouts. I know, I know – who the hell are the Earth Scouts?

From their website:

“Earth Scouts is an inclusive, co-educational scouting program, in which facilitators provide a cooperative learning environment for future community leaders and change agents seeking sustainability, equity and nonviolence. Earth Scouts are the parents, teachers, mentors and youth who come together to engage in a shared learning experience that teaches and supports understanding and action on community issues in ways that are congruent with the Earth Charter. Earth Scouts is a program of Earth Charter U.S.”

“…Earth Scouts is more than a scouting program. It is a group experience in which each child or youth:

Finds his/her voice for leadership;

Understands the complexity of sustainability—that it involves social and economic equity, environmental soundness, nonviolence and peace;

Takes the responsibility to transform her/his concerns into action either as an individual or as a group.

“… Earth Scouts is a way of life and a way of perceiving the world that is connected to the Earth Charter, a larger shared global vision for a caring, sustainable and peaceful world.”

“The Earth Charter, is a set of values and principles for a sustainable future written by thousands of people in 78 countries over the course of ten years. It was launched at The Hague Peace Palace in 2000.

The sixteen Earth Charter principles focus on respect for nature, economic justice, universal human rights, and a culture of peace. The Earth Charter has been used as a foundation for businesses, governments, and communities working towards building a just, sustainable, and peaceful society.

It is based on 50 UN Declarations, 200 agreements of non-governmental organizations, the perspectives of contemporary science and cosmology, the wisdom of world religions and ancient and current sustainable ways of living and working.”

“Earth Scouts nurtures the development of children and youth in learning and participatory actions to improve their neighborhoods and communities. A large body of research validates the importance of community service activities in the positive psychological, social and intellectual growth of youthful participants. Short-term outcomes include improved grades and attendance at school, increased personal efficacy, recognition of the importance of participating in the political system, and socially responsible, community-oriented attitudes. Long-term outcomes include increased likelihood of voting in adulthood, commitment to future service, decreased likelihood of dropping out of school, improved transition from school to work, and a strong intrinsic work motivation. In short, research shows that giving children and youth opportunities to become engaged in civic activities increases the likelihood that they will become healthy, active citizens.”

“ECUS’s mission is to mainstream the Earth Charter’s vision and principles through inspiration, education and initiatives that include the Earth Charter Community Alliance, an informal network of Earth Charter organizers around the country; global annual Earth Charter Community Summits; and Earth Scouts. Other projects in development include the Sustainable Business Coalition, an Earth Charter Curricula for Education, the development of Earth Charter Community Indicators, an Earth Charter Leadership Academy and the League of Earth Charter Voters.”

Pay attention to the words from their website; here are just a handful that are very telling: sustainability, personal efficacy, environmental soundness, social and economic equity all of these sound noble on the surface but when you factor in – “It is based on 50 UN Declarations, 200 agreements of non-governmental organizations, the perspectives of contemporary science and cosmology, the wisdom of world religions and ancient and current sustainable ways of living and working.” it begins to sound more like another scheme to indoctrinate the youth and convert them into “environmental community organizers”. Also it is hard to overlook that a stated objective is “recognition of the importance of participating in the political system.” In any normal youth program an enhanced sense of citizenship and its’ value is a desired outcome. However that is not the same as saying, “increased likelihood of voting in adulthood” is a stated goal. Or that Earth Scouts is a way of life and a way of perceiving the world that is connected to the Earth Charter, a larger shared global vision for a caring, sustainable and peaceful world.

Next we have the high school and college age kids. They are being told by their teachers and professors as well as the president’s web site that their parents just don’t get it. There is a video from BarackObama.com that shows the children explaining things to the adults. The kids do not just feel the need to educate their parents and discuss the issues with them. Instead you are left with the feeling that Mom and Dad are stupid. They still believe in that crazy Constitution thing. The president seems to be saying; you must educate your parents because you get it and they don’t.  Here is a sample from the video:

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Lots of my friends’ parents probably aren’t going to vote because they are all really busy. So my friends and I all work really hard to get them to vote and register.

So when my cousins and I have to talk to them about why we as the future generations really need Obama as the president.

We start out easily and just start saying, oh, watch the debate. And then we’ll say, well, we really think that what Obama or Biden said about energy is really important because we need to start fixing that now before it will be too late.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: It’s more of like sitting down and having this, it almost feels like a parent-child conversation, except I’m the parent and they are the child.

Go to: See more of the video – http://www.glennbeck.com/content/articles/article/198/36274/  I am providing the link via Glenn Beck’s web site because I can no longer get to it at BarackObama.com.

This type of indoctrination should scare parents everywhere. My next comment will draw fire from the Progressives who read my blog so that can fire nasty tweets at me on Twitter but the last time these types of tactics were used was during the rise of the Third Reich, when German children turned on there own parents after being brainwashed by the government.

There is also the use of art as propaganda, another Third Reich favorite. There was the NEA controversy when the White House attempted to use the NEA to create propaganda art to support their agenda message.

Art as Propaganda – A historical perspective:

“Art was considered to be one of the most important elements to strengthening the Third Reich and purifying the nation. Political aims and artistic expression became one. The task of art in the Third Reich was to shape the population’s attitudes by carrying political messages with stereotyped concepts and art forms”.

“True art as defined by Hitler was linked with the country life, with health, and with the Aryan race. “We shall discover and encourage the artists who are able to impress upon the State of the German people the cultural stamp of the Germanic race . . . in their origin and in the picture which they present they are the expressions of the soul and the ideals of the community.” Hitler, Party Day speech, 1935

The above passages are from “A Teacher’s Guide to the Holocaust”

Examples of recent “Obama Propaganda Art”

In case you think I am exaggerating or pinning something on the president he is not really involved in, read this:

“The president has a clear arts agenda and has been very supportive of using art and supporting art in creative ways to talk about some of the issues that we face here in this country. Continue to get involved in those things, to support some of the president’s initiatives, but also to do things that we are passionate about and to push the president and to push his administration.” – MICHAEL SKOLNIC, RUSSELL SIMMONS POLITICAL DIRECTOR

Hollywood is also helping the president with his propaganda agenda. Remember, Green Week at GE-owned NBC. This is a special form of broadcast television — especially on NBC, who has their prime time lineup participating in fascinating “green” storylines.

Have you had enough yet? Are you worried about your kids, they are being bombarded with the “settled science” of global warming” and other propaganda straight from Hollywood, MTV and their favorite celebrities.

There also is the corruption of our history. The Constitution and the American Revolution are no longer given the attention they deserve. The accounts of history have been modified to fall in line with the Progressive agenda. (This is an entire blog to itself.) Civics has been replaced with current events. Text books are a joke and in most schools the kids aren’t allowed to take them home. I think they are afraid the parents might see what is in them. We no longer say the Pledge of Allegiance or sing the “The Star Spangled Banner”. God has been banned from schools but we teach evolution and sex education. This started long before the Obama administration. The Progressives have been a cancer on the country for the past 100 years. Here is their view of education:

“Parent choice” proceeds from the belief that the purpose of education is to provide individual students with an education. In fact, educating the individual is but a means to the true end of education, which is to create a viable social order to which individuals contribute and by which they are sustained. “Family choice” is, therefore, basically selfish and anti-social in that it focuses on the “wants” of a single family rather than the “needs” of society”. – The Association of California School Administrators

Where are the teachers, the parent’s partner in education and our last line of defense in the classroom? Unfortunately, most are in the union and now many are on the side of the Progressives. Higher education was taken over long ago by the left – slowly evolving to the most radically “progressive section of the country”. Leaving nothing to chance colleges like the University of Minnesota have added ideological purity as a prerequisite to attaining a teaching degree.

The conclusions of the Race, Culture, Class and Gender Task Group at the U’s College of Education and Human Development says that future teachers must dismiss the idea of “the American Dream” in order to obtain their teaching licensure required by the state.

The task force proposes making race, class and gender politics the “overarching framework” for all teaching courses at the university.

The first step toward “cultural competence,” says the task group, is for future teachers to recognize — and confess — their own bigotry”. This will be achieved through exercises designed to allow prospective teachers to describe their own prejudices, stereotypes and take a “cultural intelligence” assessment. The assessment is designed to help them identify their own racism, classism and other cultural assumptions.

According to the task force the objective is to ensure that “future teachers will be able to discuss their own histories and current thinking drawing on notions of white privilege, hegemonic masculinity, heteronormativity, and internalized oppression.” These teachers will be required to champion social justice, “to explain how institutional racism works in schools” and acknowledge the flaws in the American Dream. They also recommend requiring “our future teachers” to “articulate a sophisticated and nuanced critical analysis” of this view of the American promise.

This is liberal indoctrination and manipulation for adults. It is also further proof that in the ranks of higher education there is a concerted effort to drive a social re-engineering of our country.

“This is one of those issues that you just can’t put down, … It is a fantastic read, and will leave you with no doubt whatsoever that America’s colleges today have become radical indoctrination centers ? and your kids are the target.” – Joseph Farah

The administration continues to treat the American public, who they are supposed to be serving, as if we are deaf, dumb and blind. Worse yet they believe that we are easily manipulated. Their behavior, their totally disdain for our Constitution and their tactics are insult to our intelligence.

I am truly running out of new things to say about what is going on. America – this is wrong! What has happened to our country in less than a year? What is worse; is there is historical precedent for the type of things we are seeing. There is a force at work intent on “transforming” our country. Hope and Change sounds positive but the transformation so far seems much more insidious. There are red flags all over this administration; what is their end game? We need to find out before it is too late. For those who will say I am a conspiracy theorist, I say – Really? If it was one thing, one or two red flags, you would have an argument but every day we hear something new. They are not listening to us.  This my friends is not how it is supposed to be in America.

Bottom line: America is in the biggest fight in our history to protect – Our way of life, our freedom, our liberties, our sovereignty and the American Dream! If you love this country and you are not involved yet – What are you waiting for? Stand up, Fight back and Make your voice heard!

Wake up America! We are surrounded and now they are after our kids!

Restore the Republic, Reject the agenda of the Progressive Left!

“It should be your care, therefore, and mine, to elevate the minds of our children and exalt their courage; to accelerate and animate their industry and activity; to excite in them an habitual contempt of meanness, abhorrence of injustice and inhumanity, and an ambition to excel in every capacity, faculty, and virtue. If we suffer their minds to grovel and creep in infancy, they will grovel all their lives”. – John Adams

“The Constitution is not an instrument for the government to restrain the people, it is an instrument for the people to restrain the government — lest it come to dominate our lives and interests.” Patrick Henry

Scary Progressives/Socialists: In Their Own Words, Part 2

“Progressivism” is a reform movement that began in the 1890’s and has remained active to this day. At times it has had a lower profile but it has been an active force in American politics for over 100 years.

So what is my beef with “Progressives” ? In part 1, I gave you the history of the movement and the names of some of its’ current members. For the second part of the answer I offer you a compilation of the Progressives in their own words:

Early Progressives/Socialists:

NICCOLO MACHIAVELLI, ITALIAN PHILOSOPHER & FATHER OF MODERN POLITICS:

“Whoever desires to found a state and give it laws, must start with assuming that all men are bad and ever ready to display their vicious nature, whenever they may find occasion for it.”

GEORGE BERNARD SHAW, NOBEL PRIZE WINNER & PLAYWRIGHT:

“The moment we face it frankly we are driven to the conclusion that the community has a right to put a price on the right to live in it … If people are fit to live, let them live under decent human conditions. If they are not fit to live, kill them in a decent human way. Is it any wonder that some of us are driven to prescribe the lethal chamber as the solution for the hard cases which are at present made the excuse for dragging all the other cases down to their level, and the only solution that will create a sense of full social responsibility in modern populations?”

“I don’t want to punish anybody. (But there are) an extraordinary number of people whom I want to kill. I think it would be a good thing to make everybody come before a properly-appointed board, just as they might come before the income tax commissioner, and say every five years, or every seven years, just put them there, and say, “Sir, or madam, now will you be kind enough to justify your existence?”

If you’re not producing as much as you consume or perhaps a little more, then, clearly, we cannot use the big organizations of our society for the purpose of keeping you alive, because your life does not benefit us and it can’t be of very much use to yourself.

JOHN DEWY, AMERICAN PHILOSPHER, PSYCHOLOGIST & EDUCATIONAL REFORMER:

“Children who know how to think for themselves spoil the harmony of the collective society which is coming where everyone is interdependent.”

SIR FRANCIS GALTON, ANTHROPOLOGIST & EUGENICIST (He invented the term Eugenics):

“It has now become a serious necessity to better the breed of the human race. The average citizen is too base for the everyday work of modern civilization.”

“(Eugenics) must be introduced into the national conscience, like a new religion. It has, indeed, strong claim to become an orthodox religious tenet for the future, for Eugenics co-operates with the workings of Nature by securing that humanity shall be represented by the fittest races. What Nature does blindly, slowly and ruthlessly, man must do providently, quickly and kindly.”

WOODROW WILSON, 28th U.S. PRESIDENT:

“The President is at liberty, both in law and conscience, to be as big a man as he can. His capacity will set the limit; and if Congress be overborne by him, it will be no fault of the makers of the Constitution … but only because the President has the nation behind him and Congress has not.”

“Government does now whatever experience permits or the times demand.”

“All that progressives ask or desire is permission–in an era when development, evolution, is a scientific word–to interpret the Constitution according to the Darwinian principle; all they ask is recognition of the fact that a nation is a living thing and not a machine.”

STUART CHASE, AMERICAN ECONOMIST & ENGINEER (Credited with coining the term The New Deal used by FDR):

“The very first law in advertising is to avoid the concrete promise and cultivate the delightfully vague.”

“Why should the Russians have all the fun remaking a world.”

FRIEDRICH NIETZSCHE, 19th CENTURY GERMAN PHILOSPHER:

“There are no eternal facts, as there are no absolute truths.”

“After coming into contact with a religious man I always feel I must wash my hands.”

FRANKLIN D. ROOSEVELT, 32nd U.S. PRESIDENT

“Throughout the nation men and women, forgotten in the political philosophy of the Government, look to us here for guidance and for more equitable opportunity to share in the distribution of national wealth… I pledge you, I pledge myself to a New Deal for the American people… This is more than a political campaign. It is a call to arms.”

“A conservative is a man with two perfectly good legs who, however, has never learned how to walk forward.”

“Here is my principle: Taxes shall be levied according to ability to pay. That is the only American principle.”

“If I went to work in a factory the first thing I’d do is join a union.”

“As new commander in chief under the oath to which you are still bound, I reserve the right to command you in any phase of the situation which now confronts us.”

MARGARET SANGER, AMERICAN FOUNDER OF THE BIRTH CONTROL MOVEMENT:

“We are failing to segregate morons who are increasingly multiplying … a dead weight of human waste… an ever-increasing spawning class of human beings who should never have been born at all.”

OTHERS:

“I believe that now and always the conscious selection of the best for reproduction will be impossible; that to propose it is to display a fundamental misunderstanding of what individuality implies. The way of nature has always been to slay the hindmost, and there is still no other way, unless we can prevent those who would become the hindmost being born. It is in the sterilization of failure, and not in the selection of successes for breeding, that the possibility of an improvement of the human stock lies.”

“The case for government by elites is irrefutable.” – Senator William Fulbright

Modern/Current Progressives:

FRIEDRICH AUGUST VON HAYEK, AUSTRIAN BORN ECONOMIST & PHILOSOPHER:

“Economic control is not merely control of a sector of human life which can be separated from the rest; it is the control of the means for all our ends. And whoever has sole control of the means must also determine which ends are to be served, which values are to be rates higher and which lower, in short, what men should believe and strive for.”

“Let me now state what seems to me the decisive objection to any conservatism which deserves to be called such. It is that by its very nature it cannot offer an alternative to the direction in which we are moving. It may succeed by its resistance to current tendencies in slowing down undesirable developments, but, since it does not indicate another direction, it cannot prevent their continuance. It has, for this reason, invariably been the fate of conservatism to be dragged along a path not of its own choosing. The tug of war between conservatives and progressives can only affect the speed, not the direction, of contemporary developments.”

LYNDON JOHNSON, U.S. PRESIDENT:

“I am concerned about the whole man. I am concerned about what the people, using their government as an instrument and a tool, can do toward building the whole man, which will mean a better society and a better world.”

“There is but one way for a president to deal with the Congress, and that is continuously, incessantly, and without interruption. If it’s really going to work, the relationship between the president and the Congress has got to be almost incestuous.”

“No member of our generation who wasn’t a Communist or a dropout in the thirties is worth a damn.”

“It is the genius of our Constitution that under its shelter of enduring institutions and rooted principles there is ample room for the rich fertility of American political invention.”

JIMMY CARTER, 39th U.S. PRESIDENT:

“Republicans are men of narrow vision, who are afraid of the future.”

“What has happened at Guantanamo Bay… does not represent the will of the American people. I’m embarrassed about it, I think its wrong. I think it does give terrorists an unwarranted excuse to use the despicable means to hurt innocent people.”

MICHELLE OBAMA, U.S. FIRST LADY:

“The truth is, in order to get things like universal health care and a revamped education system, then someone is going to have to give up a piece of their pie so that someone else can have more.”

BARACK OBAMA, 44th U.S. PRESIDENT:

“It’s not that I want to punish your success. I just want to make sure everybody who is behind you, that they have got a chance at success, too. I think when you spread the wealth around, it’s good for everybody.”

“We need to steer clear of this poverty of ambition, where people want to drive fancy cars and wear nice clothes and live in nice apartments but don’t want to work hard to accomplish these things. Everyone should try to realize their full potential.”

“It’s not surprising, then, they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.”

“But the Supreme Court never ventured into the issues of redistribution of wealth and sort of more basic issues of political and economic justice in this society. And to that extent as radical as I think people tried to characterize the Warren court, it wasn’t that radical. It didn’t break free from the essential constraints that were placed by the founding fathers in the Constitution, at least as it’s been interpreted, and Warren court interpreted it in the same way that generally the Constitution is a charter of negative liberties, says what the states can’t do to you, says what the federal government can’t do to you, but it doesn’t say what the federal government or the state government must do on your behalf. … one of the, I think the tragedies of the civil rights movement was because the civil rights movement became so court-focused, I think that there was a tendency to lose track of the political and community organizing activities on the ground that are able to put together the actual coalitions of power through which you bring about redistributive change.”

BILL FLETCHER, JR., SENIOR SCHOLAR – INSTITUTE FOR POLICY STUDIES’:

In this sense, comrades, I am here to not only speak to you about the subject of this panel, but to put before you a challenge. Too many of us on the Left act as if we have all the time in the world to make changes. If it does not happen in our lifetimes, too many of us think, it will inevitably happen in the next. No! History demonstrates exactly the opposite. There are no guarantees.

“DSA is needed as a major force to transform the Left and compel the entire Left to recognize that ours must be a struggle for power; a struggle for a progressive politics; a struggle to create a national-popular bloc capable of truly altering the priorities of this country…and this necessitates theory and it necessitates organization.

Remember the words of A. Philip Randolph that I think are so applicable to this moment:

“At the banquet table of nature there are no reserved seats. You get what you can take, and you keep what you can hold. If you can’t take anything, you won’t get anything; and if you can’t hold anything, you won’t keep anything. And you can’t take anything without organization.” What more needs to be said!

“You never let a serious crisis go to waste. And what I mean by that it’s an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before.” – Rahm Emanuel, Obama White House Chief of Staff

“[A]lmost all gun control legislation is constitutionally fine. And if the Court is right, then fundamentalism does not justify the view that the Second Amendment protects an individual right to bear arms. ” – Cass Sunstein, Obama Regulatory Czar

“Capitalism and the market are presented as synonymous, but they are not. Capitalism is both the enemy of the market and democracy.” – David Korten, Member of the Club of Rome

“Capitalism works better from every perspective when the economic decision makers are forced to share power with those who will be affected by those decisions.” – Barney Frank, Rep. U.S. House of Representatives, (MA)

“Generally speaking we get the joke. We know that the free market is nonsense. We know that the whole point is to game the system, to beat the market or at least find someone who will pay you a lot of money because they are convinced that there is a free lunch. We know this is largely about power, that it’s an adults only, no limit game. We kind of agree with Mao that political power comes largely from the barrel of a gun.” – Ron Bloom, Obama’s Manufacturing Czar

“I think ultimately the rate of growth of material consumption is going to have to come down and there’s going to have to be a degree of redistribution of how much we consume in terms of energy and material resources in order to leave room for people who are poor to become more prosperous.” – John Holdren, Obama’s Science Czar

There is a consistent set of themes running through their comments:

  • more government
  • individual freedoms are secondary
  • the government knows best
  • use of what ever means necessary
  • the Constitution is outdated
  • capitalism is bad
  • “social justice”
  • redistribution of wealth
  • global government

So this is where it starts – the question is where would it end? These people are radicals who want to reengineer our society and our nation. Open your eyes America, the Constitution and the American way of life are under attack! You must fight back, the threat is real. There are “progressives” in our government who want to “fundamentally transform America”. This transformation is underway. Will you help stop it?

Indoctrination of a Nation

University of Minnesota calls for ideological purity for teachers

When did ideological purity become a prerequisite to attaining a teaching degree? The University of Minnesota wants to cleanse the Minnesota education system of cultural biases. Therefore, it will expect its’ education graduates to confess to their own bigotry if they believe in the American dream of equal opportunity.

These are the conclusions of the Race, Culture, Class and Gender Task Group at the U’s College of Education and Human Development. Specifically the task force says that future teachers must dismiss the idea of “the American Dream” in order to obtain their teaching licensure required by the state.

The task force proposes making race, class and gender politics the “overarching framework” for all teaching courses at the university. In January, planners will review the recommendations and decide how to proceed.

Indoctrination and manipulation is for kids too! Meet the Earth Scouts….

After watching “The Story of Stuff” (http://wp.me/pv8jP-9r) you’ll feel really bad if you are only 7 or 8 years old.

Finds his/her voice for leadership;

Understands the complexity of sustainability—that it involves social and economic equity, environmental soundness, nonviolence and peace;

Boy, I am so bummed they didn’t have this when I was a kid – NOT! If you read this crap closely you will see this another major indoctrination effort of the green movement to politically manipulate our kids. Sorry to be so cynical but does this sound like fun to anyone? There is nothing wrong with educating kids about the environment. When I was a kid, I was a Boy Scout. It was fun and educational. Almost every rank and many merit badges included some form of conservation project. We learned about nature, conservation, astronomy, biology and having fun; but nobody was cramming a political agenda down our throats.

Let’s be honest – we all want a cleaner, healthier, more peaceful world but the path to that goal is not through youth political movements designed to indoctrinate but disguised as scouting.

From the website it is difficult to tell who is funding this worldwide program but I sure would like to know. I have a few suspects but I’ll keep them to myself until I have proof.

Wake up America! We are surrounded and now they are after our kids!

“This is one of those issues that you just can’t put down, … It is a fantastic read, and will leave you with no doubt whatsoever that America’s colleges today have become radical indoctrination centers ? and your kids are the target.” – Joseph Farah

It is being used around the world and is available in several languages.

There is also another version that has been released by conservatives which debunks the crap that is in the Tides version. Watch that version on the link below:
