Gimme Back My Bullets

Working through the backdoor, radical leftist groups, the administration, the EPA and Regulatory Czar Cass Sunstein are carefully designing regulations to control the use of lead in products. While we all recognize the dangers associated with the use of lead in some products there is a hidden agenda in this effort.

The real target in this effort maybe unlegislated gun control. Using environmental concerns as their launching pad several environmental groups are asking the EPA to ban bullets, lead shot and even fishing sinkers claiming they contaminate the environment. The proposal relies on support from studies which claim that lead shot, ammo, sinkers, etc are killing animals that eat the lead fragments or other animals that were shot and contaminated by the ammo that killed them. These groups are citing the Toxic Substances Control Act as the vehicle to create these regulations.

The proposed regulations are a stretch and conflict with existing language within the act. There also is no precedent for the EPA to involve itself in regulations that interfere with second amendment gun rights. The NRA has already weighed in on this sending the EPA a letter pointing out that they are overstepping their authority.

You have to give these guys credit for creativity. If you can’t implement gun control legislation due to a lack of support then go after the ammunition on the basis of lead and render the guns useless. While there maybe alternatives to lead most would fall into the category of military grade ammunition such as the armor piercing variety which would create safety issues for law enforcement so that would also be shot down (no pun intended).

Fundamental transformation is underway! It is time to stop it in its tracks!

Obama Plans 10 Million Acre Land Grab

As I have warned in previous posts the agenda to “fundamentally transform America” is following the Cloward/Piven handbook of community organizing. While the attention of the nation is focused on the health care debate, the administration has multiple agenda items moving full speed ahead and going relatively unnoticed. Their strategy is an elaborate shell game designed to keep us off balance and unable to keep up with the all changes in motion at any given time.

Their plan to grab over 10 million acres of land is an excellent example of one such item. At a time when the administration has promised to help create jobs and put Americans back to work the land grab they are secretly considering could actually put more people out of work. Recently a Department of the Interior memo surfaced revealing plans for the federal government to seize more than 10 million acres from Montana to New Mexico. The plan will increase federal control over energy-rich land in the West. The effects of this land grab includes killing jobs in forestry, mining and energy. The collateral damage is the tax revenue these industries generate.

The land grab also circumvents states right’s. By using the 1906 Antiquities Act, Obama can stop all development of the land and limit its’ use by humans. The unfortunate part of this is the president doesn’t need anyone’s consent to do this. There are no checks or balances in this process, the president can and probably act unilaterally through presidential proclamation.

The memo was made public by Rep. Robert Bishop, R -UT. He feared another unilateral land grab by the White House was in the making. Former Presidents Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter both used this technique. Carter grabbed 50 million acres of land in Alaska against the state’s will and Clinton used the tool 22 times to grab another 5.9 million acres around the country.

There are many sites on the administration’s list that have key energy resources that could be developed such as oil and gas reserves. However, environmentalists that support the administration want these sites locked down to protect “animals and nature”. Again – at a time when energy independence should be a priority, why would the administration get in the way?

The scary thing here is that while the country languishes in recession the government appears to be working against recovery. Stopping use of public land for activities that will create jobs, energy independence and other revenue generating opportunities is just wrong!

Sen. Jim DeMint R-SC, tried to put through legislation to block any attempt by the administration to grab land under the old law but the Democrats in the Senate voted it down 58-38 this week.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, of course, voted against it even though his state is the poster child for why this is bad policy. Nevada, a state where 80% of the land is controlled by the federal government, is currently suffering 12.8% unemployment even though it is a state that is rich in natural resources. Nationwide the government currently owns 650 million acres which is 29% of the country’s land. Yet they want more! Taking more land out of use will only further hinder economic recovery.

Seizing land from states without their consent is un-American. We must stop new plans to take land away from states’ and restrict its’ use. Restricting use of the nation’s resources will hurt job creation and tax revenues. This means no new jobs for unemployed Americans.

There is another troubling aspect to this story. What is the real purpose behind of all these land grabs? I know you are thinking – OK here comes the conspiracy theory. Well you be the judge but there is overwhelming evidence that there is an international movement to change the use of land and natural resources around the world. It is linked to “Climate Change” and the “green movement”. In the U.S. there are many environmental guerilla movements most of which are run by hard core progressives.

Have you ever heard of the Wildlands Network, formerly known as the Wildlands Project?

Explanation of the Biodiversity Treaty and the Wildlands Project

The Statutory Framework of the World Network of Biosphere Reserves, The Seville Agreement for the MAB Program, and the Strategic Plan for the USMAB all state the MAB Program is designed to help implement the Convention on Biological Diversity, a treaty currently before the US Senate for ratification. Likewise, Section 13.4.2.2.3 of the United Nations Global Biodiversity Assessment defines the Wildlands Project as the basis for preserving biodiversity for the Convention on Biological Diversity. The Wildlands Project is based on the science of conservation biology and was developed by Dr. Michael Soule, co-founder and first president of the Society For Conservation Biology; Dr. Reed Noss, current editor for the journal of Conservation Biology; and David Foreman, co-founder and long-time leader of Earth First!

The science of conservation biology was largely created by the IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature). The IUCN is an accredited UN advisor and is comprised of government agencies and NGOs (non-governmental organizations). These include the EPA, US Forest Service, US National Park Service, US Fish and Wildlife Service, The Sierra Club, National Wildlife Federation, Natural Resources Defense Council, The Nature Conservancy, Society for Conservation Biology, and many others. The IUCN is also one of the primary promoters and : developers of the Convention on Biological Diversity. This perhaps explains why the US Government and environmental organizations appear to be working in concert to implement the Wildlands Project and Biodiversity Treaty even though the treaty has not been ratified.

This map is drawn under the supervision of a PhD. in Ecology, and follows instructions provided by the Wildlands Project, the UN/US MAB, and the rapidly increasing control within US counties through the UN/US Heritage programs. This is especially true for counties having federal land, particularly in the Western US. The map incorporates, when available, actual maps as well as a multitude of government and environmental literature demanding various reserves or national parks interconnected with corridors.

The interpeted map is based on the strategy and procedures laid out in what is known as the Wildlands Project and the UN/US Man and the Biosphere Program (MAB). Both are based on the need of protecting biological diversity using core wilderness reserves which are surrounded by buffer zones that variably regulate human activity to protect the attributes of the core reserves (see below). Areas not included in core reserves or buffer zones are zones of cooperation where regulations are designed to favor biodiversity and ecosystems.

Here is a quote from one of their founders:

For instance, say you own a cattle ranch that sits astride a valley that forms a natural link between two massifs in Montana, and that is vital for a link in the system. And say that I, a stranger, show up one day and ask you to donate your ranch to a conservancy or to the state. At first you would probably think me a fool. At worst you would feel attacked, especially if I said that there would be a bill introduced into the legislature that would declare your land to be a critical habitat, thus justifying its condemnation. But if you had been a partner in an open planning process, you might be more disposed to the conservation objectives of the program, if not the means of realizing it. And it might make a big difference if I told you that I wasn’t asking you to give up ranching on your land, but to consider leaving it to a conservancy after the death of your children, by which time cattle ranching in Montana would probably not be economic.” – Michael Soule: co-founder of the Society for Conservation Biology, serves on the Wildlands Project board and teaches in the Environmental Studies Department at the University of California at Santa Cruz.Whether the government’s motives are tied to The Wildlands Network and environmental crazies or just bad public policies – the theft of state and private property by the federal government must stop. (Note: the similarity in the two maps)This is yet another trampling of individual freedoms and our constitutional rights.

America, it is time to wake up! Our country is being stolen from us while we watch. Are you ready to stop the madness? Open your eyes, the Constitution and the American way of life are under attack! You must fight back, the threat is real. There are “progressives” in our government who want to “fundamentally transform America”. This transformation is underway. Will you help stop it?

Climate Change Unravels But Refuses to Die!

What in the world is happening? Could it be? Climate change is a scam?

So you are probably thinking… Climate Change, Cap & Trade and the like are dead… Why is he still writing about this? Wake up, people this is the administration that refuses to give up on healthcare reform and trying KSM in NYC!

News Flashes from the real world!

  • For the first time in 14 years, Lake Erie is frozen. That’s right, the entire surface of the 241-mile-long lake is frozen over end to end.
  • Last week, the east coast was battered by record snowfalls with some areas receiving three feet of snow. This is not a singular event though.  So far this year, Baltimore (72.3 inches), Washington D.C. (54.9 inches) and Philadelphia (70.3 inches) have all beaten their previous records for snowiest winters.
  • From The Register, a U.K. newspaper: “More trouble looms for the IPCC. The body may need to revise statements made in its Fourth Assessment Report on hurricanes and global warming. A statistical analysis of the raw data shows that the claims that global hurricane activity has increased cannot be supported.”
  • From Les Hatton, PhD Meteorologist and fellow of the Royal Meteorological Society: Analyzed hurricane activity from 1946 to 2009. He studied the number of storms and their strengths. He concluded the pattern averaged out. He went on to say that Al Gore made misleading statements in his prediction (more intense hurricanes) for the next 100 year pattern by choosing to use the 2005 (Katrina) data in a vacuum to support his assertion. Within the data set 2005 stands out as a complete anomaly.
  • A growing number of “climate change” researchers are focused on the accuracy of thousands of weather stations around the world, which have been used to collect temperature data over the past 100 years. “The temperature records cannot be relied on as indicators of global change,” said John Christy, professor of atmospheric science at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, a former lead author on the IPCC. Many of these gathering stations have been compromised by everything from urbanization to relocation. There are well documented examples of weather stations in places such as: next to heat generating equipment, at the Rome airport near an area where jets are taxiing and on the grounds of an waste industrial incinerator.  Ross McKitrick, professor of economics at the University of Guelph, Canada, an invitee to a recent IPCC event said, “We concluded, with overwhelming statistical significance, that the IPCC’s climate data are contaminated with surface effects from industrialization and data quality problems. These add up to a large warming bias.”
  • And last from Professor Phil Jones, former director of the University of East Anglia’s Climatic Research Unit comes the following admissions:
  1. For the past 15 years there has been no ‘statistically significant’ warming.
  2. Conceded the possibility that the world was warmer in medieval times than now.  (This would imply global warming is not a man-made phenomenon.)
  3. Admitted he had “trouble” keeping track of the raw data that was critical to the theory of climate change. (What the hell does that mean – you’re a scientist?)

The proof against this scam is starting to pile up. The story is unraveling. So what’s next? Will it die?

Will the Obama administration call a time out and attempt to sort out the truth from the lies? After all, this is a huge piece of their political agenda. One would think they would want to be sure they are on the right track before pushing the country and our economy down a path from which there is no return.

To get the answer we turn to NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) administrator Jane Lubchenco, who was asked this question on NPR, “Last week we saw some really unusual weather patterns not only through the mid-Atlantic but even today in the southern part of the US.  What do you think has made this year so different?” To which she replied, “It’s important that people recognize that weather is not the same as climate, and record-breaking storms neither negate nor approve climate change.  This year we have indeed seen a lot of seemingly strange things — record snowfalls in the mid-Atlantic region — even though the planet is warming.  And this isn’t a contradiction, and it’s not really unexpected.  The multiple snowstorms we’ve been seeing this winter with more on the way likely are a result of the confluence of El Nino and the Arctic Oscillation”.

Of course, this is true – El Nino and the Arctic Oscillation are cyclical parts of our weather pattern and occur regardless of man-made activity. The point being that weather is weather and climate change if it does exist would need other scientific data besides weather to support it. However, the environmental elite want to have it both ways. They want to point at weather when it suits their argument and discredit it when it doesn’t. That is why they renamed it “climate change” from “global warming”, after all.

As for Ms. Lubchenco, she just keeps pushing the administrations agenda. When asked, “What is your reaction to the growing sense around the country, perhaps even around the world, that global warming is a hoax?” She replied, “Climate change is underway.  It’s happening now.  It is resulting in many changes that will affect the way people live and do business.  And the fact that we are getting more and more requests for information about droughts, about future heat waves, about air quality, forest fires, sea level rise inundating coasts…” Really?

“It (Climate Change) has become completely political — it’s not about science at all,” said Fox affiliate WDAF  chief meteorologist, Mike Thompson “If science were the objective, then we would be seeing an entirely different debate. But there are agendas at play, and it has undermined the credibility of climate science.”

Remember this…

Quote from the Club of Rome: “In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like would fit the bill….All these dangers are caused by human intervention….and thus the “real enemy, then, is humanity itself….believe humanity requires a common motivation, namely a common adversary in order to realize world government. It does not matter if this common enemy is “a real one or….one invented for the purpose.” (The Club of Rome is an elitist think tank founded in 1968 and dedicated to limiting growth of the industrialized nations worldwide.)

…Or this?

UN Secretary Ban Ki-Moon: “ All agree that climate change is an existential threat to humankind. … The issues are complex, affecting everything from national economies to individual lifestyles. They involve political trade-offs and commitments of resources no leader can undertake lightly. … Yet the elements of a deal are on the table. All we require to put them in place is political will. We need to step back from narrow national interest and engage in frank and constructive discussion in a spirit of global common cause”.

First, all do not agree that its’ real, much less an eminent threat to the world. Also read what is said closely and it is easy to see the real picture. The goal is a “global common cause”. So what does that mean? Again read carefully. It involves “political trade-offs”, “commitments of resources”, and “the need to step back from narrow national interests”. If you pay attention it is pretty easy to decipher, the plan calls for a worldwide social re-engineering that will lead to world government.

There’s your answer! IT IS NOT going away, the climate change scam and the “green agenda” will just keep reinventing itself looking for a way to invade your psyche. The “Progressive Left” will keep trying to find a scare tactic to get us on board because “It does not matter if this common enemy is “a real one or….one invented for the purpose.”

Plain and simple this is a power grab designed to redistribute wealth and reengineer society. In the absence of legislation the Obama administration has used the EPA to continue pushing their agenda declaring carbon dioxide “a harmful greenhouse gas”. They also established a Climate Program inside the NOAA to provide the public with “information on the climate and how it impacts their lives”. Can you say propoganda?

Remember their goals…

Quote by Michael Oppenheimer, major environmentalist: “The only hope for the world is to make sure there is not another United States. We can’t let other countries have the same number of cars, the amount of industrialization, we have in the US. We have to stop these Third World countries right where they are.”

Quote by Emma Brindal, a climate justice campaigner coordinator for Friends of the Earth: “A climate change response must have at its heart a redistribution of wealth and resources.”

Wake up, America! This is a global scam. Our sovereignty, our economy and our futures are at stake! Contact your elected representatives and The White House – tell them; No Cap & Trade, No Treaties on Climate Change, No deals with the U.N. and no subsidies to foreign governments (carbon reparations) – we do not owe them and we can not afford to pay them!

Restore the Republic, Reject the Agenda of the Progressive Left, Reject Green Lies!

The Green Police: A Joke or A Prediction

greenpolice

So we all laughed when we saw the Audi ad during the Super Bowl featuring Cheap Trick’s Dream Police remade as The Green Police. The ad was clever probably appealing to both sides of the Environmental/Climate Change argument as either humorous or serious depending on your point of view. However, upon further review this is a clever  multi-layered propaganda campaign that clearly supports the progressive/green agenda.

From the Audi ad campaign:

“Every day consumers around the globe are faced with a myriad of decisions in their quest to become more environmentally responsible citizens. Paper or plastic? Bottled water or tap water? Gas or electric? Compost bucket or recycling bin? So many questions; yet so many conflicting answers. It can be overwhelming.

Now consumers have help, from the Green Police.

As part of the lead up to their third consecutive Super Bowl ad, Audi has created a fictional Green Police unit that are caricatures of today’s green movement. The Green Police are a humorous group of individuals that have joined forces in an effort to collectively help guide consumers to make the right decision when it comes to the environment. They’re not here to judge, merely to guide these decisions.

Coincidentally, there are numerous real Green Police units globally that are furthering green practices and environmental issues. For example, Israel’s main arm of the Ministry of Environmental Protection. Audi strives to help protect the environment in all aspects of our vehicle manufacturing. Environmental Protection in the area of enforcement and deterrence is called; you guessed it, the Green Police. New York has officers within the state’s Department of Environmental Conservation that are fondly called the Green Police. The Green Police is also the popular name for Vietnam’s Environmental Police Department and the UK has a group who dresses in green as part of the Environment Agency’s squad to monitor excessive CO2 emissions”.

Now watch the ad again and the companion collateral available on the web site and see how funny you really think it is.

Today the Green Movement is the new religion that the world’s elite have created to move their agenda forward. This is being done under the banner of saving the planet, social justice and redistribution of wealth while retaining the power for themselves.

The threat to the world is not man-made global warming or climate change. The threat to the world, is the groups of fanatics who want to impose their values and desires on others.

Remember these quotes:

Quote by Maurice Strong, a primary power behind UN throne: “Isn’t the only hope for the planet that the industrialized civilizations collapse? Isn’t it our responsibility to bring that about?”

Quote by Jeffery Sachs, Columbia University, Director of The Earth Institute: “Obama is already setting a new historic course by reorienting the economy from private consumption to public investments…free-market pundits bemoan the evident intention of Obama and team to ‘tell us what kind of car to drive’. Yet that is exactly what they intend to do…and rightly so. Free-market ideology is an anachronism in an era of climate change.”

Quote by Michael Oppenheimer, major environmentalist: “The only hope for the world is to make sure there is not another United States. We can’t let other countries have the same number of cars, the amount of industrialization, we have in the US. We have to stop these Third World countries right where they are.”

The government is promising to create more jobs. We know the IRS is hiring agents. What’s next – the EPA and Green Police? It is not really that far fetched. Apparently the Green Police already exist in places around the world including the U.S. If the government has its’ way – will their numbers will continue to grow?

Congress’ inability to pass Cap & Trade resulted in the EPA declaring CO2 a harmful pollutant. With that as its’ launching pad the EPA is promising new regulations next month. There are a host of new federal mandates on everything from outdoor light bulbs and table lamps to water dispensers, commercial hot food cabinets, and Jacuzzis. (Remember the commercial!) Expecting people to be good stewards of the planet is one thing – but to create an environmental Gestapo would be another.

The real objective is social reengineering not saving the planet. It is time to see the green agenda, for what it is. Climate change and the green movement are mostly a giant money making, power grabbing scam for the elite – and YOU are the victim. Wake Up! Do your own research, the truth is out there – this is a scam.

“Sometimes I wonder whether the world is being run by smart people who are putting us on or by imbeciles who really mean it.” – Mark Twain

The Treaty of Copenhagen – a threat to US Sovereignty

What is the Treaty of Copenhagen? According to the website, Web Commentary:

“The Treaty of Copenhagen, in present draft form, would create an unelected world government with direct power over all financial and trading markets, and direct power to intervene over the heads of elected governments in the economic and environmental affairs of all nations signing the Treaty. It would require wealthier nations to redistribute up to 2% of their annual gross domestic product to third-world countries in imagined reparation for imaginary “climate debt” – and all this just as final scientific proof becomes available that CO2 has a tiny and harmless warming effect. Please oppose this treaty by signing a petition agreeing with the Instrument of Repudiation, and urge at least five of your friends to do the same to save America’s freedom, democracy, and prosperity”.

http://www.webcommentary.com/

We are at the turning point and we must take action now if we want to save our country. I believe at our core we are still a religious people that values family, faith and country. The Green Movement has become the new religion for some and it is the tool that they will use to “create the crisis” that could trigger the end of our country by using fear, manipulation of the food, energy and the healthcare system to achieve their objectives to push us into a world run government. This will as the President likes to say, “Fundamentally transform America”.

It is time to take back the control of our national destiny. Restore the Republic, Reject Global Governance and Defend U.S. Sovereignty!

Can we destroy the US? UN: We Can Do It!

On Monday,  Ban Ki-moon, secretary general of the United Nations wrote an Op/Ed for the N.Y. Times explaining the importance of the Copenhagen Climate Summit to the future of mankind. If I didn’t know he was a Harvard educated South Korean, based on his name and his comments I’d think he was a dope smoking hippie from a California commune. His Op/Ed follows – read and make note of the bold passages. At the end we will discuss the concerns that every American should have as you digest this Climate Change propaganda piece courtesy of the left wing media.

We Can Do It

By BAN KI-MOON

Every day, the critical December summit in Copenhagen grows closer. All agree that climate change is an existential threat to humankind. Yet agreement on what to do still eludes us.

How can this be? The issues are complex, affecting everything from national economies to individual lifestyles. They involve political trade-offs and commitments of resources no leader can undertake lightly. We could see all that at recent climate negotiations in Bangkok. Where we needed progress, we saw gridlock.

Yet the elements of a deal are on the table. All we require to put them in place is political will. We need to step back from narrow national interest and engage in frank and constructive discussion in a spirit of global common cause.

In this, we can be optimistic. Meeting in London earlier this week, British Prime Minister Gordon Brown told the leaders of 17 major economies (responsible for some 80 percent of global greenhouse gas emissions) that success in Copenhagen is within reach—if they themselves engage, and especially if they themselves go to Copenhagen to push an agenda for change.

U.S. leadership is crucial. That is why I am encouraged by the spirit of compromise shown in the bipartisan initiative announced last week by John Kerry and Lindsey Graham. Here was a pair of U.S. senators — one Republican, the other Democratic — coming together to bridge their parties’ differences to address climate change in a spirit of genuine give-and-take.

We cannot afford another period where the United States stands on the sidelines. An engaged United States can lead the world to seal a deal to combat climate change in Copenhagen. An indecisive or insufficiently engaged United States will cause unnecessary — and ultimately unaffordable — delay in concrete strategies and policies to beat this looming challenge.

Leaders across the globe are increasingly showing the engagement and leadership we need. Last month, President Barack Obama joined more than 100 others at a climate change summit at U.N. headquarters in New York — sending a clear message of solidarity and commitment. So did the leaders of China, Japan and South Korea, all of whom pledged to promote the development of clean energy technologies and ensure that Copenhagen is a success.

Japan’s prime minister promised a 25 percent cut in greenhouse gas emissions from 1990 levels by 2020, laying down a marker for other industrialized nations. The European Union, too, has pledged to make a 30 percent reduction as part of a global agreement. Norway has announced its readiness for a 40 percent cut in emissions. Brazil has unveiled plans to substantially cut emissions from deforestation. India and China are implanting programs to curb emissions as well.

Looking forward to Copenhagen, I have four benchmarks for success:

Every country must do its utmost to reduce emissions from all major sources, including from deforestation and emissions from shipping and aviation. Developed countries must strengthen their mid-term mitigation targets, which are currently nowhere close to the cuts that the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change says are needed. Developing countries must slow the rise in their emissions and accelerate green growth as part of their strategies to reduce poverty.

A successful deal must strengthen the world’s ability to cope with an already changing climate. In particular, it must provide comprehensive support to those who bear the heaviest climate impacts. Support for adaptation is not only an ethical imperative; it is a smart investment in a more stable, secure world.

A deal needs to be backed by money and the means to deliver it. Developing countries need funding and technology so they can move more quickly toward green growth. The solutions we discuss cannot be realized without substantial additional financing, including through carbon markets and private investment.

A deal must include an equitable global governance structure. All countries must have a voice in how resources are deployed and managed. That is how trust will be built.

Can we seal a comprehensive, equitable and ambitious deal in Copenhagen that will reduce greenhouse gas emissions and limit global temperature rise to a scientifically safe level? Can we catalyze clean energy growth? Can we help to protect the most vulnerable nations from the effects of climate change? Can we expect the United States to play a leading role?

The best answer to all these questions was given last week by Senators Kerry and Graham: “Yes, we can.”

 Now for a little rebuttal/explanation:

  •  All agree that climate change is an existential threat to humankind. No, all do not agree. Internationally, there is a growing number of scientists speaking out, challenging and debunking the “science” of climate change.
  • We need to step back from narrow national interest and engage in frank and constructive discussion in a spirit of global common cause. Sing along now, “they are the world, they want to destroy us…” A global common cause, ever heard of UN Agenda 21? If you haven’t, you better do some research. Start here: UN Agenda 21 & how it will destroy US sovereignty http://wp.me/pv8jP-a0
  •  “…John Kerry and Lindsey Graham. Here was a pair of U.S. senators — one Republican, the other Democratic — coming together to bridge their parties’ differences to address climate change in a spirit of genuine give-and-take”. Two things here; first on the basis of this alone Lindsey Graham should be kicked out of the Republican and second the only giving and taking that will happening in Copenhagen will be American money, competitiveness and sovereignty.
  • Last month, President Barack Obama joined more than 100 others at a climate change summit at U.N. headquarters in New York — sending a clear message of solidarity and commitment. It appears that PBO is poised to go along with this insanity because it furthers his domestic agenda and gives the government excuse for further regulation/control.
  • Developed countries must strengthen their mid-term mitigation targets, which are currently nowhere close to the cuts that the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change says are needed. Translation: We must hurry and pass Cap & Trade so we can do our part in solving this global crisis. After all the science is settled, right? Just ignore the fact that there has been a steady decline in temperatures since 1999. Besides, if we hurry up and get involved in the international plan quickly, Al Gore, GE & Goldman Sachs can all improve their bottom lines at the expense of everyone else. After all, isn’t that what the Audacity of Hope is all about?
  • In particular, it must provide comprehensive support to those who bear the heaviest climate impacts. Support for adaptation is not only an ethical imperative… Developing countries need funding and technology so they can move more quickly toward green growth. The solutions we discuss cannot be realized without substantial additional financing, including through carbon markets and private investment.  Again, with the guilt. This is also another program to create social justice and redistribution of wealth.
  •  A deal must include an equitable global governance structure. All countries must have a voice in how resources are deployed and managed. That is how trust will be built. Now you may think that I am cynical but this is the most dangerous statement of all. What do the words “equitable global governance structure” mean to you? All countries must have a voice in how resources are deployed and managed? Seriously, regardless of whom they belong to? So to gain the trust of the rest of the world, we need to subsidize them AND share our resources! Remember that Agenda 21 thing I keep brining up? Can you say, “One World Government?” Don’t kid yourself – this can happen in America! Obama and his band of radical Czars, advisers and socialist comrades are on board with the UN and Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.

It is time to Wake Up, America! We are at a turning point in American history. Every choice in the next twelve months is potentially a monumental one. We must stop the advance of socialism and global governance in our country, right now. With a lot of work and dedication we can make it to the mid term elections so we can throw out the bums in Congress who are enabling this administration’s agenda to “fundamentally transform America”. The danger that Ronald Reagan often spoke of has never been greater than it is right now.

If you love our country and our way of life, if you believe in the Constitution and the American Dream then you must get engaged now! Speak up, make your voice heard. Hold your elected representatives accountable for every vote they cast. They work for us!

Time is running out! Our freedom, liberty and sovereignty are at risk of being lost. It can happen in, even in America, when we take too much for granted. It is time for every citizen to defend America by engaging in their civic responsibility to participate in the democratic process and make their voice heard. As they say “Speak now or forever hold your piece.”

I will close with the wisdom of George Washington who said, “Harmony, liberal intercourse with all nations, are recommended by policy, humanity, and interest. But even our commercial policy should hold an equal and impartial hand; neither seeking nor granting exclusive favors or preferences; consulting the natural course of things; diffusing and diversifying by gentle means the streams of commerce, but forcing nothing; establishing (with powers so disposed, in order to give trade a stable course, to define the rights of our merchants, and to enable the government to support them) conventional rules of intercourse, the best that present circumstances and mutual opinion will permit, but temporary, and liable to be from time to time abandoned or varied, as experience and circumstances shall dictate; constantly keeping in view that it is folly in one nation to look for disinterested favors from another; that it must pay with a portion of its independence for whatever it may accept under that character; that, by such acceptance, it may place itself in the condition of having given equivalents for nominal favors, and yet of being reproached with ingratitude for not giving more. There can be no greater error than to expect or calculate upon real favors from nation to nation. It is an illusion, which experience must cure, which a just pride ought to discard.”

It is a pity that somewhere along the way we lost sight of this advice. However, maybe it is not too late to turn from our current self destructive path. Calling all patriots….

Restore the Republic, Reject Global Governance!

Kill the Cows!

According to Lord Stern of Brentford, a leading authority (?) on global warming, we all need to adopt a vegetarian lifestyle, if the ware going to conquer climate change.

In a recent interview, Lord Stern said: “Meat is a wasteful use of water and creates a lot of greenhouse gases. It puts enormous pressure on the world’s resources. A vegetarian diet is better.”

Farting cows and other livestock are a major source of methane emissions into the atmosphere. Methane is 23 times more powerful than carbon dioxide as a greenhouse gas according to some scientists.

Lord Stern, went on to speculate that a successful agreement in Copenhagen at the Climate Change Conference could lead to a sharp spike in prices for meat and other foods that produce large quantities of greenhouse gas.

He predicted that as people become more responsible, they will become more concerned about the carbon content of their food. He probably would like to see it added to the nutritional information panel of all foods. According to the UN, meat production is responsible for about 18 per cent of global carbon emissions.

Meanwhile back at home, Democrats have attached themselves to their usual solution – if want to get rid of something tax it out of existence.  Rep. James Sensenbrenner, R-WI., the ranking member of the House Select Committee for Energy Independence and Global Warming, if the current climate change bill becomes law it could have a devastating impact on agribusiness. In the absence of a technology based solution for livestock methane emissions the congressman said, “I don’t know if we’re supposed to develop the technology to strap a catalytic converter on the back of a cow”, since a capture and convert strategy would be a more earth friendly solution than a tax.

At this rate, hamburger will replace steak as a luxury item and the price of food will keep going up. Amazing how every “green” initiative has a negative effect on the price of something.

Let’s for a minute pretend that this madness makes some sort of sense. Is the Lord of Brentford suggesting a mass murder of livestock? What about horses and camels, don’t they fart too? Maybe we should by him a copy of “The Gas We Pass: The Story of Farts” by Shinta Cho, as he seems to be in denial about how things really work.

Do you ask yourself with increasing frequency… Who are these idiots and who put them in charge?

It is time to stop the madness! Reject Climate Change Legislation and the Copenhagen Treaty proposals! Restore the Republic – Enough is Enough!

By the way vegans beware – don’t sit there with that smug look on your face – beans are next!

The Cow Fart Tax……. The next battle in the fight to curb global warming….. Really!

Farting cows and other livestock are a major source of methane emissions into the atmosphere. As a result the EPA is looking for ways to address this greenhouse gas problem. So you won’t be surprised to find out that one of the ways they are considering addressing the problem is through a tax. While I am not sure how this will reduce the gases legislation to impose the tax is working its’ way through a House committee.

According to Rep. James Sensenbrenner, R-WI., the ranking member of the House Select Committee for Energy Independence and Global Warming, if this bill becomes law it could have a devastating impact on agribusiness. In the absence of a technology based solution for livestock methane emissions the congressman said, “I don’t know if we’re supposed to develop the technology to strap a catalytic converter on the back of a cow”, since a capture and convert strategy would be a more earth friendly solution than a tax, if global warming wasn’t a myth in the first place. (Please see my 4 part series on The Waxman-Markey Climate Change Bill)

In case you are wondering about the cost of livestock farts, the EPA proposal breaks it down like this, $175 a year on every head of dairy cattle in the United States, $80 for beef cattle and $20 per head of hogs. In a recent blog I joked about a methane tax because it seemed so ridiculous, turns out we now live in theater of the absurd. If this bill passes hamburger will replace steak as a luxury item and the price of food will keep going up. Amazing how every “green” initiative has a negative effect on the price of something. President Obama may have promised income tax cuts for 95% of Americans but by the time he is done with his social reengineering, the economy will be in shambles and inflation will be through the roof. Then everyone will wish for the good old days of higher income tax. By the way vegans beware – beans are next! Read more at:

The Climate Change Scam – Quotes from the Idiot Left

Below are quotes from powerful, rich, religious, famous and fanatical environmentalists intent on keeping “the populace alarmed” to further their own personal and selfish goals. That goal is “Global Governance” by way of the U.N. These elitists believe they know what is best for us and they are willing to lie to us, manipulate the science, the media and our children to achieve their objectives.

The people below represent such a group.

Fasten your seat belts, these quotes range from frightening to ridiculous:

Quote from Club of Rome: “In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like would fit the bill….All these dangers are caused by human intervention….and thus the “real enemy, then, is humanity itself….believe humanity requires a common motivation, namely a common adversary in order to realize world government. It does not matter if this common enemy is “a real one or….one invented for the purpose.”

Quote by Al Gore, former vice president: “Adopting a central organizing principle means embarking on an all-out effort to use every policy and program, every law and institution, to halt the destruction of the environment.”

Quote by Emma Brindal, a climate justice campaigner coordinator for Friends of the Earth: “A climate change response must have at its heart a redistribution of wealth and resources.”

Quote by David Foreman, co-founder of Earth First!: “We must make this an insecure and inhospitable place for capitalists and their projects. We must reclaim the roads and plowed land, halt dam construction, tear down existing dams, free shackled rivers and return to wilderness millions of acres of presently settled land.”

Quote by Louis Proyect, Columbia University: “The answer to global warming is in the abolition of private property and production for human need. A socialist world would place an enormous priority on alternative energy sources. This is what ecologically-minded socialists have been exploring for quite some time now.”

Quote by Michael Oppenheimer, major environmentalist: “The only hope for the world is to make sure there is not another United States. We can’t let other countries have the same number of cars, the amount of industrialization, we have in the US. We have to stop these Third World countries right where they are.”

Quote by Barack Obama, “All across the world, in every kind of environment and region known to man, increasingly dangerous weather patterns and devastating storms are abruptly putting an end to the long-running debate over whether or not climate change is real. Not only is it real, it’s here, and its effects are giving rise to a frighteningly new global phenomenon: the man-made natural disaster”.

Quote by David Graber, scientist U.S. Nat’l Park Services: “We have become a plague upon ourselves and upon the Earth. It is cosmically unlikely that the developed world will choose to end its orgy of fossil energy consumption, and the Third World its suicidal consumption of landscape. Until such time as Homo Sapiens should decide to rejoin nature, some of us can only hope for the right virus to come along.”

Quote by Sir John Houghton, first chairman of IPCC: “Unless we announce disasters, no one will listen.”

Quote by Al Gore, former vice president: “I believe it is appropriate to have an over-representation of factual presentations on how dangerous it is, as a predicate for opening up the audience to listen to what the solutions are, and how hopeful it is that we are going to solve this crisis.”

Quote by Stephen Schneider, Stanford Univ., environmentalist: “That, of course, entails getting loads of media coverage. So we have to offer up scary scenarios, make simplified, dramatic statements, and make little mention of any doubts we might have.”

Quote by Amory Lovins, scientist, Rocky Mountain Institute: “Complex technology of any sort is an assault on human dignity. It would be little short of disastrous for us to discover a source of clean, cheap, abundant energy, because of what we might do with it.”

Quote by Paul Ehrlich, professor, Stanford University: “Giving society cheap, abundant energy would be the equivalent of giving an idiot child a machine gun.”

Quote by Ted Turner, billionaire, founder of CNN and major UN donor: “A total population of 250-300 million people, a 95% decline from present levels, would be ideal.”

Quote by Ted Turner, billionaire, founder of CNN and major UN donor: ‘Global warming’ will kill most of us, and turn the rest of us into cannibals.”

Quote by Jason Warmis, long-time activist, environmentalist, UN advocate: If we are to stop CO2 growth, then we have to cut present world energy use by 80%, now. Our young people know the fate of the world is in their hands and they will make the sacrifices to make this happen. They will give up their iPods, cell phones, cars, computers, DVD players, video games, and the Internet to achieve an 80% cut, and more if necessary – this is not an issue for themselves, it’s an issue of saving the world for our betters, nature. Our young people will not fail us; they will lead the way as the last crucible of change and hope.

Quote by Ross Gelbsan, former journalist: “Not only do journalists not have a responsibility to report what skeptical scientists have to say about global warming. They have a responsibility not to report what these scientists say.”

Quote by Charles Alexander, Time Magazine science editor: “I would freely admit that on [global warming] we have crossed the boundary from news reporting to advocacy.”

Quote by Christine Stewart, former Canadian Environment Minister: “No matter if the science is all phoney, there are collateral environmental benefits…. climate change [provides] the greatest chance to bring about justice and equality in the world.”

Quote by Timoth Wirth, U.S./UN functionary, former elected Democrat: “We’ve got to ride the global-warming issue. Even if the theory of global warming is wrong, we will be doing the right thing in terms of economic policy and environmental policy.”

Quote by Richard Benedik, former U.S./UN bureaucrat: “A global climate treaty must be implemented even if there is no scientific evidence to back the greenhouse effect.”

Quote by Chris Folland of UK Meteorological Office: “The data don’t matter. We’re not basing our recommendations [for reductions in carbon dioxide emissions] upon the data. We’re basing them upon the climate models.”

Quote by Noel Brown, UN official: “Entire nations could be wiped off the face of the Earth by rising sea levels if the global warming trend is not reversed by the year 2000. Coastal flooding and crop failures would create an exodus of “eco-refugees,” threatening political chaos.” (Editor: Yes, he meant the year 2000.)

Quote by Harry Reid, Democrat, U.S. Senate majority leader: “Coal makes us sick. Oil makes us sick. It’s global warming. It’s ruining our country. It’s ruining our world.”

Quote by Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.: “Large-scale hog producers are a greater threat to the United States and U.S. democracy than Osama bin Laden and his terrorist network.”

Quote by Osama bin Laden, terrorist leader behind 9/11 plot & attacks: “In fact, the life of all mankind is in danger because of global warming resulting to a large degree from the emissions of the factories of the major corporations; yet despite that, the representative of these corporations in the White House insists on not observing the Kyoto accord, with the knowledge that the statistics speak of the death and displacement of millions of human beings because of global warming, especially in Africa.”

Quote by David Frame, climate modeler, Oxford University: “Rather than seeing models as describing literal truth, we ought to see them as convenient fictions which try to provide something useful.”

Quote from Monika Kopacz, atmospheric scientist: “It is no secret that a lot of climate-change research is subject to opinion, that climate models sometimes disagree even on the signs of the future changes (e.g. drier vs. wetter future climate). The problem is, only sensational exaggeration makes the kind of story that will get politicians’ — and readers’ — attention. So, yes, climate scientists might exaggerate, but in today’s world, this is the only way to assure any political action and thus more federal financing to reduce the scientific uncertainty.”

Quote by Thomas Lovejoy, scientist, Smithsonian Institution: “The planet is about to break out with fever, indeed it may already have, and we [human beings] are the disease. We should be at war with ourselves and our lifestyles.”

Quote by Rowan Williams, Archbishop of Canterbury: “We must support government coercion over enforcing international protocols and speed limits on motorways if we want the global economy not to collapse and millions, billions of people to die.”

Quote by Bill Maher, supposedly a comedian: “Failing to warn the citizens of a looming weapon of mass destruction- and that’s what global warming is- in order to protect oil company profits, well, that fits for me the definition of treason.”

Quote by David Suzuki, celebrity scientist on politicians ignoring climate alarmists: “What I would challenge you to do is to put a lot of effort into trying to see whether there’s a legal way of throwing our so-called leaders into jail because what they’re doing is a criminal act.”

Quote by James Hansen, prominent NASA climate scientist: “…chief executives of large fossil fuel companies to [should] be put on trial for high crimes against humanity and nature; [Hansen] accusing them of actively spreading doubt about global warming in the same way that tobacco companies blurred the links between smoking and cancer.

Quote by David Roberts, journalist Grist Magazine: “When we’ve finally gotten serious about global warming, when the impacts are really hitting us and we’re in a full worldwide scramble to minimize the damage, we should have war crimes trials for these bastards (global warming skeptics) — some sort of climate Nuremberg.”

Quote by Robert Muller, UN Assistant Secretary General: “In my view, after fifty years of service in the United National system, I perceive the utmost urgency and absolute necessity for proper Earth government. There is no shadow of a doubt that the present political and economic systems are no longer appropriate and will lead to the end of life evolution on this planet. We must therefore absolutely and urgently look for new ways.”

Unbelievable quotes aren’t they? The plan is to do and say anything to further the cause. The real objective is social reengineering not saving the planet. It is time to see this, for what it is. Climate change is a giant money making, power grabbing scam for the elite – and YOU are the victim. If the elite and the U.N. have their way, the America we grew up in will be what becomes extinct! Wake Up! Time is running out. Do your own research, the truth is out there – this is a scam.

BBC Report – What happened to Global Warming?

“All across the world, in every kind of environment and region known to man, increasingly dangerous weather patterns and devastating storms are abruptly putting an end to the long-running debate over whether or not climate change is real. Not only is it real, it’s here, and its effects are giving rise to a frighteningly new global phenomenon: the man-made natural disaster”. – Barack Obama

Not long ago, the President was busy telling us the debate about climate change was over and it was real. All while leading scientists from around the world tried unsuccessfully to get the U.N. or anyone in the media to listen to their side of the argument – that Climate Change was a cyclical event that has been happening forever. As new evidence continues to surface – will anyone listen before it is too late? We all need to face the ugly truth – Global Warming and the impending global disaster are a scam to create a power grab for the socialist forces that want to “fundamentally transform America”. This does not mean that sound environmental stewardship isn’t something we should strive for. However it does mean that we should not get suckered into sacrificing our national sovereignty, freedom, liberty, capitalism and the American way of life for the false religion of the green movement and their idea of social justice. That is why THEY are in such a rush to pass all this crap! They are afraid you will find out the truth before their plan has been launched. NO MORE CHANGE! It is time to slow down and thoughtfully debate this issue.

It is time to wake up! We need to say NO, to the Waxman Markey Climate Change Bill and any other form of Tax and Cap. This has the same disasterous consequences as Healthcare Reform.

Here is an excerpt from a new article at BBC by Paul Hudson:

For the last 11 years we have not observed any increase in global temperatures.

And our climate models did not forecast it, even though man-made carbon dioxide, the gas thought to be responsible for warming our planet, has continued to rise.

So what on Earth is going on?

Pacific ocean (BBC)

But in the last few years it (the Pacific Ocean) has been losing its warmth and has recently started to cool down.
